A one lady letterpress and bookbinding operation

I started my shop in 2008 after studying and working for other artists since 2006. My studio is located in an old dye mill in the historic Frankford section of Philadelphia. I print all my work on my beloved vintage Vandercook No. 4 letterpress.

Natural history, field guides, Shaker objects, folklore, daydreams, the Arctic, libraries, and children’s drawings, these are the things I think about and why my work looks the way it does.

My name is Marianne and I am a bookbinder and letterpress printer based in Philadelphia, PA. Huldra Press is my studio. I make original and custom works that incorporate drawing, photography, vintage and natural materials.

My Inspiration comes from such varied sources as vintage office supplies, Scandinavia, historical bindings, secret pockets, field guides, folklore, and the animal world.

I work with recycled and eco friendly materials whenever possible.

Returns and exchanges
If you have any questions about an item, please contact me before you purchase it. I'll be happy to answer any questions or provide more information. If you are unhappy with your order, please return it in its original condition. Once I've received it, I will issue you a store credit.

Unfortunately, I am not responsible for any items that are damaged or lost in shipping. If you'd like to purchase insurance, just let me know and I'll add it to your invoice.

Shipping
Please allow two to three business days for me to mail your items from the time of the order. All items will be shipped USPS. Also, please make sure that your shipping address is made clear. I will ship to the address provided by Etsy when you make your order.
