Hypershine is taking a short break

Buying from Hypershine was an absolute pleasure. I asked for a custom design and a very professional mock-up sketch was proposed so we could make sure we were on the same page. After some minor revisions, they went to work with my measurements. They actually caught a measurement that didn't seem to fit the rest of my proportions and asked me to reconfirm--they were right. The final product arrived in a very reasonable timeframe for a custom item like this, and the final product fits like a glove, looks fantastic, and is well made. I highly recommend them and their unique designs. As an aside, I really enjoyed our conversations and they are really cool people. My best experience on Etsy to date. This review may seem so glowing that appears fake, but I can assure you I really just felt they deserved the praise.

This shirt fits fantastic, and the cuffs on the sleeves are great. The guys who run Hypershine are cool cats to deal with & put out a good product.
Merging Futurist High Fashion with Fetish Club Wear
Hypershine began in mid-2010 as a creative side project and a means for the designers to gain access to more elaborate club-wear for the local alternative events.
It slowly gained momentum as a viable business as more and more people from Vancouver's fetish, S&M and alt' fashion communities began to take note.
Taking inspiration from the leaders in dark, futurist high fashion such as Gareth Pugh, Mugler and Iris van Herpen and borrowing visual cues from the likes of David Bowie, H.R Giger and classic sci-fi such as Blade Runner, 2001: A Space Odyssey and Ghost in the Shell, Hypershine offer a more colourful and refined take on the cyberpunk aesthetic.
Their aim is to bridge the gap fetishism, club wear and high fashion.
With a collective skill set branching into industrial design, the duo hope to use developing manufacturing and material technologies to push the creative limits of latex and eventually move into other areas of product design for S&M, fetishism and alt' sexuality.

If you have an urgent need for the piece we can place a rush order on it!
This will require us putting up a separate listing with different shipping, and is dependant on what latex colours we have in stock. Drop us a line if you're needing that shiny something before Friday's Party, and we'll see what we can do!
