Shannon Story on Feb 19, 2017
Ordered Dec. 22 for January birthday present. She said it would ship next day. Two weeks later, birthday past. Contacted. She said mail carrier sent back candy. She said she would send candy again. I said I wanted a refund. She said she sent refunded. It is now Feb 19. No refund.
I had a sore throat during the winter holidays, so I made this lovely soup! It was so delicious, and my Persian husband loved it! I hope to place more orders soon :)

I live a very green and sustainable lifestyle. I truly believe that you ARE what you eat and what you choose to put in your body will effect the way your body will respond to you years from now.
In Iran, we don't have added hormones in our foods, and there are no "health food stores" like Wholefoods or Trader Joe's! EVERYTHING you eat is healthy, hormone and chemical-free. I choose to follow that lifestyle, not only for myself and my family, but also for those who choose to order my baked goods.
By ordering from my store, you can be sure that you will only receive the highest quality ingredients that are %100 organic and fresh.
My Saffron Nabat (Rock Candy) is my best seller and everyone's favorite.
I purchase Saffron directly from Iran because I don't trust what they sell in markets here. There is a lot of cheating in saffron, most markets in the US sell something called "Mexican Saffron, which is basically Safflower, dyed with chemicals and has little to no flavor. It's super cheap, and sold in very large bags in pounds! Authentic Persian saffron is very expensive and I have my friends and family bring me some every time they visit Iran. If I ran out, my listings will sell out and I won't renew them until I have the proper amount of ingredients.
A common question I get is: "How many cookies come per box?"!
The answer is, I'm not greedy! I never count them! I fill the boxes as much as I possibly can, but the cookies are usually very light so you get a lot of them in each order. I measured the net weight of each item, which you can read at the end of each listing. You will most probably get a little more than that, but never less!
We have all been told to “read labels” when we’re choosing our foods. but the truth is, most sustainable foods do not have labels!
SUSTAINABLE FOODS DON’T NEED LABELS BECAUSE THEY:
* Are real foods that our bodies were designed to eat.
* Are healthy for us, the soil, and the animals.
* Do not harm the environment.
* Are humane for both the workers and the animals.
Sustainable food is what people ate for thousands of years, up until 20th century.
My cookies and pastries are very low in sugar, I only use natural sweeteners like honey (especially in my "Zaboon") and if using sugar is necessary in a recipe, I will always use raw, natural turbinado sugar. I'll be more than happy to accommodate any special diet if you just ask!
Eating mindfully may take a bit more effort, but the rewards are too big to pass up.
