Welcome to my Etsy shop. My name is Anna Przyborowska. I sell my works under the nick "iasio" :)
I’ve been making colourful patchworks and crocheted things for 10 years.
A couple of years ago I started my adventure with creating art dolls. All my techniques and process are self-taught and evolved through trial and error. I work all the time step by step.
I love make dolls with Sculpey polymer clay. I sculpt faces, hands and other detail. Then I paint them with high quality Genesis paints and add a touch of gloss varnish to accentuate some parts. Rest of the body is then designed and hand sewn out of high quality faux fur. After I shear them.
I usually start new creature from the scratch. I never use castings so each work is unique in its kind.
My creatures are renderings of my imagination. Sculpting faces is my favourite moment - when they starts smiling and eyes are looking for me my creatures comes alive!

I'm a lover of art dolls. I don't only create them but also have my own small collection of ooak art dolls from artists around the world. My collection is constantly evolving. I’m put a new items of my dolls for sale in my Etsy shop.

I care very much for all my creatures, so for shipping I pack them carefully to make sure you’ll get them intact.
