I received my first shipment and it was wonderful. The colors wrre great and the fiber was nice and fluffy. Still had the vinegar smell to it, which was great. Thanks

After a few weeks of being super jealous of a friend's icemelon yarn that I couldn't find, I sent a message through Etsy to request my own hanks. They're beautiful and came before I could even settle on a project.

About

Slippery Slope of Fiber

I use the headline jokingly, however it sums up my history with fiber quite well. I started crocheting after a bad break up, needing a distraction from the drama. Soon I had learned about the mysteries of spinning wheels and hand spun yarn. I had learn to knit as a small child, but I started again in hopes to use as little precious hand spun yarn as possible when creating accessories. Not long after I caught the wool dyeing bug. So now I am here, trying to soak up as much color and wool as possible. I decided I could sell these things, as I had bought from other local crafters, small businesses, and independent dyers.
I bring my own set of skills to the party, with an eye for pastels that I just can't get enough of. Within a few years I decided I had enough skills under my belt to open my own shop. So here I am, bringing the joys of fiber to others.

Hobbies have always been a staple in my life. They have changed and developed over the years, and I have found myself stuck on fiber. I have jumped full force in my small business, taking classes at my local college to further my education.
