DEFINITIONS

The online store where the chocolates are sold will be hereafter referred to as "The Store" and is located at the following address as of (yyyy-mm-dd) 2010-05-23: http://www.etsy.com/shop/iChocolates.

Any special occasion defined by its deadline date, such as a birthday, an anniversary, a celebration day (Christmas, New Year, Thanksgiving, Mothers' Day, etc.) or any corporate event will be will be hereafter referred to as "Event".

Our Refund Request Form is our online form to explain your problem and ask for a refund. It will be hereafter referred to as "RRF". The link to the "RRF" will be communicated to you by email, if need be.

The Payment Service Provider(s) processing the payment for "The Store" will be hereafter referred to as "PSP". As of (yyyy-mm-dd) 2011-04-05, the "PSP" is: PayPal, Inc. and its subsidiaries and affiliates.

The shipping company - either the postal office of the country where we are based in or any private carrier - will be hereafter referred to as "The Carrier".

"EU" stands for "European Union", "US" for "United States".

Refunds and Exchanges

REFUNDS, RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

Our products being heat-sensitive and perishable foods, we do not accept product returns.

If our chocolates have not been delivered in good condition or if some products are missing or do not match the product description published on "The Store" on the date of the purchase, you can be partially or fully refunded on a case-by-case basis, on condition you fill our “RRF” (see definition above) no later than 7 calendar days after your parcel arrived (based on the parcel tracking service provided by "The Carrier" if such option had been subscribed, or, in case the option had not been subscribed, is not available or is malfunctioning for whatever reason, based on your statement) and, the case being, on condition you provide us with the evidence asked by this form.

When releasing a special edition for an "Event", we will do anything possible to have your chocolates delivered on time. But:
If you ask for a partial or full refund because an "Event" deadline was not met for whatever reason and the chocolates were delivered after the "Event", two cases will be examined:
i - If, when placing your order, you did not mention explicitly such deadline in both the order form on "The Store" (in a message-to-the-seller kind of field) AND in an email sent to contact.ichocolates [!at] gmail.com, then you will not be refunded, whatever the edition or collection or brand name given to the chocolate release that you had purchased.
ii - Otherwise, if you did mention the deadline and if your order was accepted, which means if your order was not cancelled and you were not refunded before shipping, then please fill our “RRF” (see definition above) as soon as possible so we can examine your case and find an arrangement.

Your refund request will take up to 15 business days to be examined and, if your request is accepted, you will be partially or fully refunded using the refunding solution provided by the "PSP", and under the terms and conditions, especially processing times, defined by and under the sole responsibility of the "PSP". We do not refund by check. If a refund through the solution provided by the "PSP" is not possible for whatever reason, only "EU" customers can be refunded by bank transfer if they accept such solution and under the terms and conditions defined by the banks of the two parties.
