My purchase arrived a little bit late but Pia had handled everything very professionally. Even offered to re send another artwork without charges. Excellent trade. I love the item to bits! It's for a wedding gift this time but certainly will order for my own in the future. Thanks so much, Pia! :)

{Idestudiet™ = the Idea-studio}

idestudiet™ ART+EARTH was born out of a life long love of creating. I am originally a graphic designer by trade but have also worked with various other types of designs for years.
I have always had a love of simplicity and am hugely inspired by nature, people and places I have visited... I work with natural materials; shaping and combining objects in new ways giving old/used/raw items new life. In my online studio you will find unique wire sculptures created in celebration of life, love, spirituality and the joys of living a simple life with nature, family and friendships as the driving force.

My sculptures are made from rustic recycled wire from my fathers farm and found objects from the many miles of beaches not fare from my house. Growing up my father installed a love of nature and a sense of humbleness by it's beauty and strength in me.
As a result, my work is inspired by the landscapes of my childhood farm intertwined with the colors of the sea and the howling wind of the rugged, but beautiful, coast of the Atlantic Ocean which I currently call home...

See my work here:

My art generally has some sort of inspirational message and symbolizes something dear to me. It usually comes to me early in the design process and then naturally leads me in the direction of the final design. I rarely do detailed sketches before starting a design. I do, however, keep an idea book where I sometimes do quick drawings and jot down notes about ideas as they come to me – which often happens at 5:30 am when the house is still asleep and I can peacefully enjoy that first cup of coffee. Mostly, however, I simply let the material, the process and my instinct take over.

In my life I have been blessed with traveling and meeting the most wonderful people – always at the most perfect time. They have been of many colors, nationalities and points of views. They have all taught me something valuable and I try to pass on to my children the message that we all are connected and have a common responsibility for each other and all living things. I strive to use recycled packaging when at all possible so this beautiful Earth of ours will be here for future generations to enjoy. I hope all of the above values show in my work and I am honored to share my visions with you!

If you have any questions please don't hesitate to email me at idestudiet{at} I would love to hear from you! You can also visit my shop policies here:

Additional policies and FAQs
If you are a gallery or a B&M store please contact me via etsy convo or email me at idestudiet [!at] for information on my wholesale terms. Please note: I do not sell wholesale to online galleries/stores.

Idestudiet accepts the Etsy Gift Card. Simply use when checking out as you would in any other Etsy store.

DISCLAIMER: I work with natural materials and even though I take great care when cleaning the pieces of driftwood there might still be sand hidden in cracks in the wood. The sand might shake around and come to the surface of the wood during shipping so if there are bits of sand in the box when you open it, that is why. Some of the wire I use is rusty which may also leave traces of rust in the box.

PLEASE BE AWARE: Not all computer monitors show colors accurately and due to this there might be slight color variations from what you see on screen to the actual colors of the items you receive.

Your feedback is valued and appreciated. Should you have any questions or concerns at any time during the transaction please do not hesitate to contact me and I will work with you to find a solution. Mail: idestudiet [!at]
