Change is good!
I started making jewelry so long ago that I can't remember when or how it happened! For many years I worked with beads, cord, leather and metal clay. My jewelry has always had a casual look matching our Colorado lifestyle. But like many artists, my work is always evolving. Early in 2020 I took a traditional metalsmithing class just in time to be locked down due Covid 19. We all know that Covid is pretty much a curse but there are always a few silver linings. Pun intended! So I have had many months to just stay in my studio and work on my sterling silver and gemstone jewelry.
If you follow my Instagram page, you will see what I'm currently working on and you can also see some of the progress stories. I like to make jewelry that reflects the current season or that highlights a beautiful gemstone. Sometimes these pieces sell before I have a chance to add them to my Etsy store.
