Thank you for taking the time to view my shop! I've been selling my original photographic art for a while now, and have always loved antiques and vintage finds - little pieces of history.

My vintage treasures are all culled from garage sales and thrift stores. Each one has been carefully cleaned before I offer it for sale. I love these little scraps of the past - history has so many lost stories that will never be known. Small links to the past help to tell the story of who we were.

I am no expert on antiques or vintage items. I try to research them, and I love to find out everything I can about them, but often this is impossible with my limited resources. So you might be buying the next big seller at Sotheby's or you might not be. :)

Returns and exchanges
If you're unhappy with a print or vintage treasure, convo me and we can work out a refund or exchange. Unless I've misrepresented something, though, you must pay for the return shipping. Please look through my shipping policies as well.
Please be courteous and pay in a timely manner. I will ship accordingly. I understand that things come up, but I won't order prints, cut mats or ship your vintage things until I've received the appropriate payment from you.

Personal checks will add extra time to processing (of course I have to receive and cash/deposit it). Also, if you order more than one size of print, I will charge the shipping rate (if applicable) for the largest one.

A 5.5% sales tax will be added to orders by Nebraska residents.
If I don't have a print already in-stock, I will order it immediately upon receipt of payment. Please factor this into any time concerns you may have, and convo me with any relevant anxieties, or to find out whether a print is in stock or not. :) It usually takes a print 3-5 days to reach me, and I will almost always ship it back to you the same or next day.

US buyers are charged $5 for every print. Buyers from Canada and Mexico pay $6 for the first print in the 8x12 size, for example (larger sizes may cost more). Otherwise the international rate to ship an 8x12 print is $15 across the board.

****I will refund unused shipping/packaging costs through Paypal in $1.00 increments.**** It is impossible to estimate the shipping cost of every item to every place in the world, so I err on the higher end and give you back the rest. (Packaging costs are also factored in to my shipping costs.) If you're ordering from another country, I'm glad to ship to you - just send me a message and I'll find out the rate for you. As with domestic shipping, I'll refund you any overage that occurs.

I always reuse, recycle or upcycle shipping materials when I can! I ship prints in thick and sturdy envelopes, with each print wrapped in tissue paper or a plastic sleeve. Vintage treasures come to you in sturdy boxes. Rest assured that I'll do everything I can to ensure my treasures all make it to you safely.

I use the utmost care in packaging my work, but unfortunately, accidents do happen and I cannot be held responsible for damages incurred after your package has left my hands. Insurance can be purchased for an additional $1.35. If you want to purchase insurance, please let me know in the 'notes to seller' field at check out and wait for a revised invoice before you pay. If insurance is purchased and your item arrives damaged, please contact me immediately and we will file a claim with the post office for reimbursement. Please feel free to Convo me with any additional questions regarding these or any other policies.
Additional policies and FAQs
For my photography, I will crop, recolor, convert to black and white, and do whatever it takes in working with you to create unique artwork which complements the colors, tone and feel of your unique design scheme. Basic alterations like these are free, but I also offer more extensive editing and pricing will vary for this service.

The basic sizing options I offer vary by the photo - and each size has been selected based on the general composition of each individual image. While I can order all prints in all sizes, I may have to crop some of them. If the crop is significant, I will convo you to ensure it is to your liking.

All of my images are customizable and I have many more unique photos which are not displayed in this gallery. If you don’t like generic, cookie-cutter artwork, if you’re working on a project and need specific kinds of images, or if you’re looking for an image which complements a certain color or design scheme—let me know and I will work with you to provide unique and beautiful artwork based on your vision. Please take a look at my larger gallery: http://theeyeshaveit.redbubble.com/. I also maintain a photography blog - often with stories behind the images: hownikkiseesit.blogspot.com.

Wholesale inquiries are welcome - just send me a convo!

Above all, thank you for viewing my shop.
