OMG! This is so adorable! I am blown away at how quickly my order was made, shipped, and received. Also, I am incredibly pleased with the wonderful customer service. My order was not a pricey one, and that makes me all the more pleasantly surprised to receive such professional courtesy from start to finish. People who are faithful with small things can be trusted with large things!

Such a sweet vintage stick pin. A really pretty Tiger eye. Thank you so much.

About

I Fully Rely On God

I was fortunate to be raise in a creative family. My mom & her cousin were constantly knitting & crocheting. Mom also sewed most of my clothes, as well as sewed or knitted my Barbie Doll clothes when i was growing up. There was always something handmade that she gave to everyone at Christmas. But unfortunately, i did not inherit the knitting, crocheting, or sewing gene. Instead, my great-grandma taught me how to do embroidery. However, once i picked up a counted cross-stitch kit, i was hooked on that. Then one day, i decided to take up painting. After all, it was just like coloring, only with paint. And even as an adult i loved to color.

Painting became my passion. So, i gave it a try & soon, i was doing crafts shows. At one time, i was working 4 jobs, trying to make ends meet. Thankfully, i found a job that would pay the bills & for a few years, only did anything creative for family & friends. But i always missed it. Also in this time, i met my husband-to-be & we got engaged. We did go to a couple of shows, just as shoppers & i remember that i would point out the types of things that i used to make& that at one time, i had hoped that would've been my full time job. It wasn't long after that, he & i & my best friend were out on my patio one night & he announced that he wanted to give me my dream of doing my crafts full time.

I actually opened my Etsy shop, shortly after i started ifrogcrafts in 1996. I first started selling strictly at craft shows. Then my best friend heard about Etsy, i checked it out, and the rest, as they say, is history. Now that i am physically unable to do craft shows any longer, i am very thankful to have found this online outlet for my creations.

The pictures above are of my little corner of the world. When my husband & i lost our house a few years ago, we were very fortunate to find a duplex with an awesome Bonus Room upstairs. There was NO debate...this was MY space. Now don't get too impressed, that the pictures look all neat & organized. 99% of the time, it doesn't look that wonderful.

As i look back on the items that i made when i was starting to paint, compared to what i have done most recently, i must say that i have improved. And i wonder how some of those original pieces sold, so long ago. I'm very thankful for each & every person who has ever bought my work. I also feel extremely blessed by the feedback that i get, as i do my best to provide quality Christian, Family Friendly work at affordable prices.

First & foremost, the CEO of ifrogcrafts is God. He has given me this talent & i only want to use it for His glory. And from every single purchase that is made, i send tithes PLUS offerings to Casa de Fe. This is an orphanage in Shel, Ecuador that not only takes care of the physical & medical needs of children, but also their spiritual needs.

Thanks for stopping by. And if you have any questions about myself or my work, please do not hesitate to contact me.
