Announcement   Welcome to igotumatcha. We are makers of handmade cups, tea bowls, and other household and kitchen items that can be used for matcha of course, but all kinds of other things too!

Like wine. Or paperclips. And condiments. Or Whatever.

Our sets of simple porcelain cups are microwave and dishwasher safe and can be happily used with every type of food or drink. Packaged in sets of four and delivered to your door in a gift-worthy, recycled material package (for free inside the U.S.), these little cups are perfect for any occasion.

Tea Bowls and other items are sold individually and often include free shipping inside the United States. Everything here is handmade, often Japanese-inspired in style, and is often characterized by simple, natural forms and textures.

These are absolutely beautiful and arrived in a wonderful gift container. Highly recommend!! We are thrilled to be using them daily. They feel fantastic in the hand and are large enough for our espresso and coffee. Thank you so much!! xo

Thank you for considering a purchase from igotumatcha. We're a small company, very small in fact... it's just me at the moment, who very much enjoys my work. I've been making pottery a long time now and have sold literally thousands of items to different people over the years, mostly from a retail studio/shop I used to operate in Cincinnati. And so we arrive at the 'digital age' and now I'm looking to sell my work online, I'm glad you're here! Pottery is one of those forms of art and craft that folks often use; a favorite mug, a special plate, the bowl that's perfect for spaghetti. I can only hope that my work moves to the front of your cabinet and becomes a favorite, that's the very best compliment for my brand of potter.

Accepted payment methods

  • Accepts Etsy gift cards
Payment
Igotumatcha accepts PayPal, so that means you can use your credit card too. I hope you will understand and excuse any inconvenience that may arise by not accepting other forms of payment. If you absolutely HAVE to have some of my work but you can't use PayPal then send us a note, I MAY be able to work something out. Suffice to say that I perfer PayPal.
Shipping
All orders will be shipped within 5 business days of your payment. Actually, chances are very good that most all orders will be shipped the same day you pay for them. But if something comes up and I can't ship within 5 days I'll certainly let you know.
Refunds and Exchanges
If for some very strange reason you receive your order and the little cups appear so hideous that you simply cannot coexist with them, and you let me know that within 7 days of delivery, then I'll give you a full refund so long as you send them back to me. Same thing applies if they arrive broken, Now if you've been using the cups (and they WILL take on some patina over time, that's a good thing), or if you drop one and it breaks, we obviously can't refund you for that. But we'll gladly sell you some replacements!
Additional policies and FAQs
The cups are packaged in a gift-worthy, kraft, recycled tube; that's how they will arrive in the mail. They make great gifts and so we get some people that want a whole bunch of sets. If you think you want more than ten sets of cups then you would benefit from contacting us before buying them, you could probably save some money. Again, thanks so much taking the time to get to know more about our work.

Oh and one last thing, some people have wondered why I insist on using words like 'us' and 'we' and 'our' when it's obvious there's just one man behind the curtain. Well it hasn't always been that way, some habits are hard to break. But more accurately, in the here and now, running a pottery business from a residence necessarily involves my children, we're sort of all in it together to some greater or lesser extent. It's not exactly child labor. And so I prefer 'we.'
