5 out of 5 starsI was back and forth on whether or not I should get this headboard but I'm so so glad I ended up purchasing it!! Since my husband and my bed is against a bay window we didn't have a lot of options when it came to headboards. We hung it a bit differently than intended but it still looks great! After trying a headboard from insideweather last year for around the same price and seeing the trash they produced I turned to etsy to get a headboard that would be quality and made by hand. Angie's headboard exceeded my expectations. It arrived filled so I didn't have to worry about purchasing stuffing for the leather and the straps are absolutely gorgeous. I think this style is lovely and because of the way it is designed I don't anticipate any issues of it breaking in the future.

5 out of 5 starsThis headboard is just what I wanted. It’s very well made and was super easy to hang. The foam is nice and thick so that the headboard has nice body.

Frequently asked questions
Are your headboard covers removable?
Yes, all our headboard covers have a zipper opening so they can be washed or switched out for another colour
Are the headboard straps attached directly to the cushion?
No, the straps are separate so you can adjust the placement. This also allows for our covers to be removable and washable
Where is your leather from?
Our straps are made from cow leather that comes from a supplier in the Midwest USA, which we purchase from a supplier here in LA
Our headboard leathers are all cow leather, and come from Italy (Honey and Bourbon) the USA (Black, Sand, Putty & Merlot) and Portugal (Olive Green, Cognac & Mushroom) Read more about each leather in the individual listings
Can the headboards be mounted without the straps?
No, our headboards are designed to be lightweight enough to hang from just two anchor points via the straps, therefore they don’t have a hard backing. This makes them easy to install and move friendly. A hard backed headboard is quite heavy, requiring solid attachment to wall studs via a French cleat or similar mounting system for safety
Where are your designs made?
All our designs are handmade in Los Angeles, California. We have a studio/workshop space in La Crescenta (see our video!) where we prototype all our new designs, sew all our small items (pillows, tabletop items, etc) and clothing items, and craft all our leather goods. To help with our larger items we work with a two small family owned upholstery shops.
I need a custom size or color, can you do that?
Absolutely! We do this a lot actually, just send us a message with your project details (dimensions, material and shipping location) and we'll get back to you with a quote.
If you would like us to make one of our designs in a fabric you have sourced we can also do that. Just send us a link to the fabric so we can verify it's the correct weight/type of fabric for the project, and we can then help you calculate how much you will need to order based on the fabric width, type and pattern.
