-----------

Ikcha, is design translated from the soul, it's an awakening of the invisible: the spirit, the magic within, the feeling of wind against your skin, the soft touch of the sun.

Is discovering your feelings and expressing them in a jewel that resonates with you, that makes you rejoice. It's a constant experimentation mixed with a daring statement in techniques and materials. It's the inspiration that conquers the matter to spark life.

Throughout our pieces Ikcha seeks to tell stories, to connect consciousness, illusions and secret feelings, those that are whispered in the ear.

Seeking to encourage the imagination with stories that project the deepest desires, looking -above all- to translate the personal fantasies into metal figures, textures, shines and contemporary shapes.

Updates

This is how the Rutilated Quartz ring started ;)
Polishing & giving these earrings the final touches ;) before gold plating and oxidizing the silver.
(And yes! we customized them, changing the post earring to this version as the customer request us to).
It's friday! And we want to sparkle & shine this afternoon, rocking the Emerald & Floral silver cuff and the Aquarius bracelet (plus my custom made bracelet I made for our wedding)

About

We love to tell stories, to connect the conscience with illusions and secret feelings, those that are whispered in the ear.

Ikcha started in 2009, after Elisa Garza -it´s founder- concluded specialized studies in jewelry making & design in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Ikcha´s work is glamorous, romantic, and nostalgic. We use mixed materials to transform stories into small objects that adorn, identify and relate what you wear with what’s in your heart. We are inspired by the soul, the spirit, nature, green hues, all kinds of flowers, searching for freedom, wood textures, imperfect aesthetics, Mexico, tribal cultures, exotic garments and the deepness of the sea. All of these influences mix to create unique pieces with a strong concept.

We believe that experimentation, context, sensory experience, intention and happy accidents are the most important part of creating. When we create, we aim to feed the imagination, project the deepest desires, and above all, translate personal fantasies into metal figures, textures, shimmers and contemporary shapes.

Care instructions

Ikcha jewelry is made of mexican sterling silver (.925).

Silver is a noble metal, which may darken over time in response to your Ph, perfums, humidity or other factors. To keep always it brilliant is ideal to use your jewelry Ikcha as often as possible, so the brightness will last. Always apply perfum or hair spray before you put on your jewelry.
Being a noble metal, is also in its nature to reveal the marks of use (such as small scratches or cracks), giving history and value to your piece.

Washing it: we recommend hand washing with warm water and mild detergent, do not let the piece dry soapy because it can stain. Immediately dry it with hair dryer (and you'll help not scratch).

Gift wrapping and packaging

You'll receive your jewel in fabric pouch & a black gift box. Inside you'll find also a warranty booklet signed by hand.

If you like to add some special note to your beloved one, please let me know! We like little details and would love to do that for you!

Also let us know if your order is a gift, so we can omit price in the UPS declaration form.
