Announcement    We are a Minnesota potter and woodblock printer working in Mashiko , Japan and in the summer in Minneapolis, Minnesota. We came to Mashiko so Lee could study pottery with National Living Treasure Tatsuzo Shimaoka. He completed a 3 year apprenticeship in 2003 and built a kiln and studio after graduation in Mashiko and has been working there since. Jean is studying woodblock printing with Tetsuo Itoi, a well known artist in Tochigi prefecture. Starting in the summer of 2007, Lee will be working in Minneapolis too. Lee's pottery is thrown on a traditional wooden kickwheel and is fired in a modern wood fired kiln. You can read more about his work here: http://mashiko.org We also have 100% positive feed back at Ebay. You can see here: http://myworld.ebay.com/potteryprints
