4 out of 5 starsThe candle holders are pretty when lit, but a bit smaller than I expected and not the greatest quality. You cannot get them wet, so if cleaning out any old candles, one must be careful.

5 out of 5 starsTiny, for the tiny tea lights (which are helpfully included), and exactly as pretty as they look in the photo. Well packed without extra waste in the packing, shipped super fast even during the busy holiday time. I'm impressed with this vendor and will buy from her again!

IlLUMIEnating one event at a time
The idea for illuminate was born a few years ago while sitting in a café in Budapest Hungary. A little candle on the table was wrapped in paper and I loved the way the light danced through it. I’ve taken the idea and expanded it to create a whole array of votives, table numbers and center pieces. I create them large or small, subtle or brash, elegant or whimsical.
Anything is possible with your lumie, let me know what you’d like to have at your celebration and I will work with you to see it created.
I love creating almost anything. Creativity runs in my family. My grandfather is an experienced carpenter. My mother has done many things like tole painting, glass work, sewing, and jewelry My father is a jack-of-all trades. He’s builds cabinets and repairs computers…you name it, he can do it. My brothers are also great artists; they both can draw anything.
I love to create and develop new ideas. I especially like to make paper creations. In addition to all the things you see here on Illumienate, I also make lots of cards for all seasons.
Illumienate is my full time job.
I am married and live in eastern Massachusetts with my husband.

I offer Lumies in many sizes, place card candles and votive wraps, and 3D seating charts.
Lumies can be 6", or 8.5" tall. Available in white stripe, white/clear, and ivory vellum.
Lofty Lumies are 11" or 13" tall. Available in white/clear and ivory vellum.
Votives are 3" tall. Available in white stripe, white/clear, and ivory vellum.

Payment
PRICING:
Lumies ship flat and unassembled with an adhesive strip along one edge. Assembly is easy and requires patience and a steady hand.
LUMINARIES:
Lumies range from 3" to 13" tall:
$2.50 for Lumies 6" and 8.5" tall
$6 for Lumies 11" and 13" tall
$.35 per ribbon for $2.50 lumies and votives.
$1 per ribbon for $6 lumies.
VOTIVES
$1 for votive wraps or $.70 each for 100+
$3 for assembled votives which includes the votive wrap, the glass holder, the ribbon base, and a tea light candle. All you have to do is light it! The candle will burn for 4 hours.
Some designs, like the big letter design and the round design are $.35 extra.
Add dimension!
Choose from: hydrangea flower cut-outs, birds stars, butterflies, snowflakes, or leaves (available in most colors):
-add $2 each to add some accents
(about 3-7 pieces).
-add $4 each for the 6" or 8.5" lumie
(about 13-20 pieces),
-add $6 each for the 11" or 13" lumie
(about 25-40 pieces).
***After payment, I will send a proof to your Etsy conversation mailbox before your lumies go to print. If changes need to be made after a proof has been approved, fees will apply. Please check over your proof(s) carefully.

A-FREE SHIPPING IN THE US!
I use the address you enter at Etsy Checkout, please make sure it is correct. If you need to make a change, please let me know as soon as possible.
Assembled lumies and votives will ship through FedEx and are insured.
DIY packages ship through USPS priority mail for US orders.
If you'd like to purchase insurance for your package let me know. Unfortunately, if your package is lost, I am not responsible for the cost of replacement.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
I'm happy to ship DIY lumies internationally! I ship by USPS priority class mail. There is no tracking available for international packages, please make sure you have the correct address. I will not replace lost packages. If you'd like a different mailing service or would like to upgrade to priority with insurance, please let me know. We do not pay custom fees, check with your local post office if you have questions on pricing.
If you prefer a different shipping method, please ask.
Additional policies and FAQs
A-Do-it-yourself. I'll mail you the printed designed flat lumies and you can assemble them. They already have an adhesive strip applied to one end. Just peel, stick, and walah! Lumies!
Q-WHAT IS A VOTIVE WRAP?
A- It is the piece of vellum transparent paper that has your guest's name, your monogram printed or your design on it that is cut-out to fit a straight-sided votive. This is the DIY version. You'll need to assemble these with your glass holders and candles and ribbon. Most standard votives are about 3" tall and about 2" in diameter. If you are uncertain about your votive, I can send you template to print and cut out to see if it will fit. Ask me and I can recommend a cheap option for the glass votives.
Q-HOW LONG BEFORE I GET THEM?
A-Once purchased, a proof will be created in 1-2 weeks after receiving necessary information from you. If you need them sooner or need to rush them, there is a rush fee. Expedited shipping is also an option.

Q-HOW DO I CHOOSE FONTS and or COLORS?
A-You can choose a font from my most popular fonts here:

If you have been using another font not listed there, let me know and I may have it.
Q-I'M NEW TO ETSY, HOW DO I GO ABOUT ORDERING?
A-Contact me--Find the link at the bottom of a listing (an item for sale in my shop) and click "contact seller", let me know what you'd like, and I can make it happen in regards to lumies and votives and seating charts.
Q-I WANTED TO ORDER 6 LUMINARIES AND IT'S SAYING THERE IS ONLY 1 AVAILABLE. IS THIS TRUE?
A-Yes and no. Let me know you how many you want and I'll change the listing. I'll make a link for you to follow and you can purchase them. Most of my product is made to order.
Q- THESE ARE AWESOME! WHAT ELSE CAN I USE THESE FOR?
A- Thank you for the compliment! I've had brides and other clients add:

A-Yes. You can use poems or menus too!
Q-IS IT POSSIBLE TO DO THE NUMBERS (TEXT) IN A BROWN OR RED COLOR?
A-Yes, or nearly any color. If you'd like something metallic, that's a little more tricky and not really possible if you want shiny, glimmery.
Q-DO YOU SEND A PREVIEW/PROOF OF THE LUMIES?
A-Yes, if you've customized the lumies or votives, I'll email you a proof before printing or shipping. There may be extra fees if changes are needed after the proof approval.
Q-I WONDERED HOW THESE MIGHT LOOK WITH FLAMELESS LED CANDLES?
A-They look great!
Q-THE DIY LISTING IS ONLY NUMBERED 1-12. CAN YOU DO NUMBERS 1-20?
A-Yep! Just contact me and let me know. I'll change a listing for you and send you the link to purchase.
