About SuzieDzines
Ever changing, ever flowing.
I started sewing, designing, and using the name "illusion" back in 2004. For years I kept my creations to myself, my family, and close friends; but was always eager to branch out into the world and share my creations and talents with everyone. I finally started creating a "brand" (Illusion Clothing Design) in 2010 and kept steadily busy with orders especially making my mark with my signature Grateful Dead dresses.
Life is always full of surprises and changes, and due to this I was forced to close down my shop and step away from what I love in early 2017. You can either go with the flow or or resist the waves and suffer - I chose to go with the flow and now beginning 2020, I am happily able to re-open with a new brand, new look, and new ideas to share with all.
I'm the sole owner, designer, & creator of the shop. Although I am obsessively creative - I have a bachelor of science degree in Biology (and hold a soft spot for science in my heart still) and a full time job working for a railroad. Crafting and being creative are my oxygen and outlets to stay balanced. My life is full of mix matched things that would make a lot of peoples' heads tilt in confusion, but I wouldn't trade my imperfect, beautifully messy life for anything ordinary.
