My Stake asked me to make these to hand out. It was so fun seeing my work all over the neighborhood.
Truth is, I can't draw...well, at least I used to not be able to.
It's true. I almost vowed not to draw again after the FHE incident where my drawing of a chicken ended up with four legs instead of two--the idea of drawing something in front of others was so difficult I became flustered. They thought I was being funny...I was just trying to salvage some dignity.
Anyway, life happened. Kids. Economy crash. Hubby's pay slashed in half (ouch!) and I needed to do something. I had a crash course in Photoshop and Illustrator at one of my previous jobs and I figured, hey, I'm sure I can do something...so we sold my wedding ring (cry), bought Photoshop and Illustrator and I worked and learned and designed for months...and nothing.
