Mi nombre es Johanie Cauvier y desde que era joven, siempre me ha fascinado el vidrio marino. ¡Son como tus propios pequeños tesoros! Mi color favorito es el azul porque creo que son muy bonitos y además son uno de los tonos más raros que puedes encontrar.
Los recojo caminando por varias playas de mi región. Comencé a hacer esto por el ejercicio que me trajo y también me encanta respirar el agradable aroma del mar. En cada salida, traigo mi pequeña bolsa especial para guardar los pequeños tesoros "recién" recogidos. Luego los llevo a casa para ordenarlos y limpiarlos. Luego decido qué pieza utilizo para hacer joyas.
Cuando comencé a hacer esto, varios de mis hermanos y amigos me dieron buenos cumplidos sobre lo que acababa de crear. Entonces empecé a recibir más y más solicitudes. En ese momento, decidí comenzar mi propio negocio llamado IMAGIMER (que significa «SEA IMAGINATION» en francés). Cada año, participo en varias exposiciones para mostrar y vender mi trabajo localmente. ¡Después de crear mi sitio web para vender y enviar muchas creaciones a todo el mundo! Etsy es nuevo para mí.
Después, he despertado interés por otros tesoros encontrados en la playa. Ahora trabajo con cerámica pulida, cerámica, conchas y piedras... ¡Mi novio y nuestros 3 hijos a menudo caminan juntos y tratan de encontrar las piezas más hermosas y únicas que podemos encontrar!
IMAGIMER crea joyas ÚNICAS y AUTÉNTICAS, hechas con materias primas como vidrio de mar esmerilado naturalmente recogido y hecho a mano por mí. Todo viene de las playas aquí en el este de Canadá, en Québec. El vidrio de mar que uso siempre está pulido y esmerilado naturalmente por el mar y la arena. También se estima en promedio que tienen al menos 50 + años para obtener una pieza perfecta. Cada pequeña pieza tiene su propia pequeña historia que contar. ¡Son verdaderos pequeños tesoros!

My name is Johanie Cauvier and ever since is was young, I’ve always been fascinated by sea glass. They’re like your own little treasures! My favorite color is blue because I think they are very beautiful and are also one of the rarest shades you can find.
I collect them by walking on several beaches in my region. I started doing this for the exercise it brought me and also I love breathing the nice scent of the sea. At each outing, I bring my special little bag to store the « freshly » picked little treasures. I then bring them home to sort them out and clean them. I then decide wich piece I use to make jewels.
When I started doing this, several of my ciblings and friends gave me nice compliments about what I had just created. I then started to received more and more requests. At that moment, I decided to start my own business called IMAGIMER (meaning « SEA IMAGINATION » in french). Each year, I participate in several expositions to show and sell my work locally. After I created my website to sell and ship many creations all over the world! Etsy is new for me.
After, I’ve picked up interest for other treasures found on the beach. I now work with polished pottery, ceramics, shells and stones... My boyfriend and our 3 kids often walk together and try to find the most beautiful and unique pieces we can find!
IMAGIMER creates UNIQUE and AUTHENTIC jewels, made with raw materials like naturally frosted sea glass picked and made by hand by me. Everything comes from beaches here in eastern Canada, in Québec. The sea glass I use is always naturally polished and frosted by the sea and sand. They’re also estimated on average at being atleast 50 + years old to get a perfect piece. Each little piece has it’s own little story to tell. They are real little treasures!
