I received the sterling silver earrings and was so surprised and so delighted with this awesome purchase. They are beautiful. The seller is such an awesome artist. It took me a long time to find her. I collect elephants. I love them. Thank you again Carrie

About

And then there were two!

I actually started a woodworking shop on Etsy. https://imaginehandcrafts.etsy.com, where I also sold some of my jewelry. Mostly handpainted Macaws, Pelicans, etc. As I couldn't list a second item for shipping without losing money I decided to open a separate jewelry shop.

I have been creating jewelry since 1980. Whew!!! Has it been that long, it seems like just yesterday. I took a short jewelry course in high school and liked it, but never did anything with my new knowledge.

Then a few years later a friend of mine showed me a silver hammered cuff bracelet and I said " I can make that! ", so he told me to make twenty of them in brass and if he liked them he'd buy them from me for $5.00 each. Which in 1980 was a good deal.

I made them, he liked them, he bought them and my love of jewelry was born!!

I live near the ocean so you might see a lot of tropical things in my jewelry.

I have made jewelry and sold it at flea market and craft shows through the years with time off for regular work to pay the bills, but I always made something even if I wasn't selling it.

In my Patina jewelry and my Handpainted jewelry I cannot make anything exactly the same so they are all unique. A fact that I love, as the reason I am so eclectic in my jewelry is because I love everthing! If something catches my eye I have to try it, whether it's wire wrapping, chain maille, fold forming, handpainted...you get the drift.

So come back often and be surprised!!

Care instructions

On my Handpainted jewelry, do not put on until after you spray perfume or hairspray. These contain acetone which acts as a paint remover. To clean simply wash with dish soap and rinse and dry with a soft cotton cloth.

For Copper:

CLEANING YOUR COPPER JEWELRY

Fastest method:

Wet your copper jewelry piece with lemon juice, sprinkle with a bit of table salt then rub with either a soft cloth, soft toothbrush or your fingers until tarnish is gone. Rinse with water then dry thoroughly.

For Sterling:

The above method works for Sterling also. Or a jewelry polishing cloth can be used. Harsh jewelry cleaners can harm stones but is okay for pieces without stones.

Sizing details

MAKE SURE IT FITS, TIPS ON GETTING THE SIZE RIGHT

BRACELETS---Using a flexible measuring tape, measure just above the wrist bone, then add 1/4" to 1 " (1/2" is average) depending on how tight you like your bracelets to fit. This is your bracelet size.

ANKLETS--Using a flexible measuring tape (or string) measure just below the ankle bone. Tighten the tape or string so it fits snugly, but not too tight around your ankle. Add about 1/2" to the measurement. This is you anklet size.
