Please make sure you fully understand what you are ordering, as Imp and Petal will not issue refunds or exchanges. Any and all questions are gladly welcomed beforehand, so kindly make use of the convo feature!
In compliance with state and federal laws Imp And Petal does not accept ANY returns on hair extensions. Extra photos of any item are gladly taken to ensure your complete satisfaction before shipment. We apologize for any inconvenience, but this is a very serious health concern and we do not wish to take any chances.

* if an item arrives in unsatisfactory condition (ie, a thread has come loose, a dread piece is the wrong length or severely unraveling, or a clasp is missing) please contact Imp and Petal within 7 days of delivery (14 days for EU residents) to determine what can be done. We will not honor any exchanges or refunds on products damaged due to customer negligence. If you are unsure how to properly wear or care for an item, please feel absolutely free to contact us!

CUSTOM ORDERS:

A non-refundable deposit (amounting to half the final cost of your custom request) is required at the time of purchase to secure your place in line on our waiting list and cover material costs in the event that you do not follow through on the final purchase of your bespoke piece(s). If your order totals less than $75, we do ask for the entirety upfront.

Upon completion of your order (which depending on our current wait time can some times exceed several months, please make sure you've checked the current turnaround!) we will contact you with detailed photos of the finished product. At this time, you are expected to either complete payment or inform us that you are no longer able/willing to purchase the kit within 7 days. As we occasionally run ahead of schedule, we are definitely flexible provided you communicate the need for an extension on this expectancy.

After this period has passed, if you have not followed through on payment we will issue ONE reminder via email. If we don't hear from you, your order will be canceled and your kit will be put up for resale.

PAYMENT PLANS: If you need more time or would like to span payments out past the typical two outlined above, please contact us to write up an official contract agreement. Please note: when making multiple payments, each additional payment will become non-refundable as it is cleared. Since this is such a small operation, it's just too much to try and keep track of more than two payments per order. We apologize for any inconvenience!

TURNAROUND TIMES: Can usually be found posted in our Etsy storefront. Occasionally orders are placed so rapidly that it can be hard to keep up on in real time. Please feel free to contact us for an estimate on when you may be able to expect your order. If you want to go ahead and purchase a deposit listing, we will certainly honor you with a refund should you decide the turnaround does not fit your schedule.

DOMESTIC ORDERS are shipped by USPS Priority mail, with delivery confirmation.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS are shipped by USPS First Class mail. Buyer is responsible for any potential customs fees.

Please contact us before purchasing your listing to arrange for alternate shipping methods.

Items will be shipped to the address provided on ETSY by default. Please be sure it is current or that you pro-actively mention a preferred address.

Please note we are not responsible for losses or damages that may occur during shipping. Every package within the US is sent out with Delivery Confirmation and Insurance up to $50. Additional/International Insurance or signed delivery may be purchased by request.

ARTISTIC FREEDOM DISCLAIMER:
I've been at this a while. Long enough to know that the best finished pieces and most extraordinary kits are those that fuel my passion, spark my creativity, and whisk me away to a world of swirling colors and textures. I prefer things not to be completely uniform. Cohesive, yes, but there will be a margin of difference between lengths and widths. Almost every single kit I put out has one single dread that's longer than all the rest. I stopped obsessing over it, and eventually started getting feedback that these ended up being the wearer's favorite, or "lucky" dreads. I LOVE artistic freedom, and if you're willing to take a leap of faith I often give small discounts on kits that allow for my own interpretation or strike a particular chord with me. If you're looking for perfectly uniform, streamlined "perfection", I'm probably not your girl. There are a handful of amazing dread artists that specialize in such things and I would be happy to send you their way.
If, however, you prefer to walk on the wild side and would like something truly unique and infused with a deep love and passion for the craft, then I would be honored if you would give me the opportunity to make you something special!
