Improper Candles was born out of the love for reality tv (mostly Bravo), basic b*tch Instagram moments, Pinterest worthy dinner parties, a strong cocktail, and a good F-bomb from time to time.

With a lifelong affair with candles and thousands of dollars in buying them over the years, it was time to create a luxurious candle without the $50+ price tag without the bullsh*t harmful chemicals that also appealed sense of humor. Improper Candles was then born...luxurious candles with personality.

1. We only use 100% soy wax that is made in the USA
2. We use 100% cotton wicks
3. Make them in small batches to keep the quality and scent.
4. Hand pour every candle
5. Source the highest quality of fragrance oils. Meaning: All of our fragrances are phthalate-free and adhere to the RIFM and IFRA standards for safety and purity. This is in addition to our own additional standards, resulting in the most stringent safety guidelines in the candle industry—and the confidence and peace of mind with using these scents around our own families.

Company Mission: Give back but make it fashion.
We donate 5% of each sale to help homeless and injured dogs in Tijuana, Mexico. The goal of the volunteer team is to get the dogs off the street or abusive home, pay for medical if needed and then get them placed in a rescue or a permanent loving home once they are cleared.
