About

Looking for the Unusual and Out of the Ordinary in Vintage Kitchen Linens...Hankies and More

A little about me:

If you have a particular fondness for vintage linens then you will find my pages of vintage tea towels, hankies and tablecloths just the thing.

I have a particular fondness for unusual printed towels, tablecloths and souvenir hankies; and, I try to acquire textiles that are unused and often will still have paper price stickers or maker/manufacturer stickers affixed and add them to my Shop inventory. I have a vast collection of 1940s through 1970s tea towels and tablecloths stored away and waiting for new owners; in particular California Hand Prints, Broderie Creations, Kate Greenaway and more.

A little secret about me: I am an avid collector of any Weil and Durrse products (Wilendur, Pride of Flanders, Oppatunity,Setting Pretty and Wilendure) and to this day when I come upon an unused Weil and Durrse towel or tablecloth it makes me smile. Believe it or not there are still unused NOS pieces floating around waiting to be found. I am currently in the research phase for another book that will include Wilendur items (most likely to be completed when I retire).

I have put together two books on the subject matter. They were complied to help me and collectors alike in identifying patterns, makers and manufacturers; and I have also included tried and true tips for cleaning your vintage textile treasures.

Do Note: I do not launder items that have tags or stickers affixed as I want you to have the item as it was found. If you need assistance regarding laundering items, please drop me a note.

And, as always, my items are the real deal. I am fortunate to still find towels, tablecloths, hankies, aprons and napkins with their stickers and price tags affixed and, am so very happy to offer to you these never used NOS items.

If you ever have a question, please shoot an email to me. I am always so very happy to respond and chat about vintage tablecloths and towels.

Always
Erin
