5 out of 5 starsCup arrived well packaged and undamaged in an attractive box. Shipping time was reasonably quick for coming all the way down from Alaska to the central states.
I really liked this design and the use of old tech to create a new and functional one-of-a-kind piece that I can use and enjoy daily for my tea and coffee habits is dear to me.
I'm very pleased with this item and I'll be watching to see what else this artist creates.

I've taught metalsmithing, drawing and ceramics at the University of Alaska for over a decade where I also earned my BFA in ceramics and drawing. My MFA was in Interdisciplinary Studies which included mixed media installations and post modern theory. My work has shown in over 200 exhibitions. Current projects and shop updates: cyborgwidow@instagram.
Most of my work has been influenced by the dichotomies and juxtapositions of rural Alaskan living. I'm particularly interested in exploring the intersections between technology and nature, art and craft, destruction and creation. As inspiration, I look for the magical within the mundane, provoke thoughtfulness with the practical and animate the pragmatic with mischievousness. I've worked with clay and the ceramic process since 1984. All my work is one of a kind or limited edition, designed and handmade by me in my small home studio in rural Alaska.
