Returns and exchanges
I stand by my shop offerings 100%. In the event any of the following situations should arise:

1. If you change your mind about your non-customized purchase, within 30 days of delivery date, I will gladly take back an item for a refund (minus shipping fee), with the understanding that if the purchase is a new non-customized handmade item it must be returned unused, and if the purchase is a vintage item it must be returned in its original condition, as depicted in the listing photos.
Either way, please email me ASAP by using the "Contact" button on my shop home page OR on your ONLINE order-receipt page (Do not use the "Report a case" or "Report an issue" button, which will create an official complaint with Etsy instead of reaching me directly).

2. If an item is damaged in shipping, contact me ASAP using the "Contact" button on my shop home page OR on your ONLINE order-receipt page (Do not use the "Report a case" or "Report an issue" button, which will create an official complaint with Etsy instead of reaching me directly). I take extraordinary care in packaging all fragile items, which greatly reduces the likelihood of damage during shipping. In the unlikely event of a shipping damage, contact me immediately using the aforementioned method. As the seller I will determine on a case-by-case basis if the damaged item needs to be returned before a refund can be processed.

3. As of February 25, 2013, all USA shoppers are offered the upgraded shipping option of "Signature Required" at no extra cost to you beyond the basic/regular shipping charge -- This is spelled out in each listing and also under Shop Policies. If you choose/have chosen not to take advantage of this free extra shipping service (i.e., Signature Required), and I have proof from the US Postal Service that the package had been delivered, there will be very little I can help with if you later report that you never received the package. That's why I strongly urge all USA shoppers to take advantage of the free "Signature Required" shipping option.

In all cases, I believe in being fair to both you and me. You could say that I believe in Karma -- what goes around comes around.

My shop accepts PayPal and credit cards. Orders will be shipped following receipt of payment.
Shipping
Shoppers within the USA, please read section 1 below. Shoppers outside of the USA, please read section 2 below:

1. Notes to USA shoppers: Shipping is via US Postal Service. In general for items over 3 oz., shipping charges are based on weight, size, and distance traveled. If you are in the Northeast, shipping should cost less; email me your zip code and I can give you a more accurate shipping price. I can also combine shipping of two or more items purchased at the same time to save on shipping costs. Tracking service is included; I will email you the tracking number after your order is shipped.
If you have any doubt about the security of a package after it’s delivered to your address (e.g., if a package left at your front door or in/around your mail box has ever been taken by an unauthorized person in the past -- in other words, stolen, swiped, permanently misplaced), I will be happy to upgrade the shipping to add the "Signature Required" service at no extra cost to you. You just need to request this option in "Notes to Seller" at checkout. This service is made available to protect both you and me.

2. Notes to non-USA shoppers: I have reluctantly suspended shipping outside of the USA for many reasons. Shipments from the USA to other countries can take anywhere from 2 to 8+ weeks, and delivery tracking is either non-existent or unreliable, unless you pay extra for express shipping, which can cost more than the item itself. In addition -- depending on your location -- you may also have to pay VAT or import tax when the item arrives in your country. If you are still interested in purchasing this item, please email or convo me.
Additional policies and FAQs
I sometimes need to email a buyer to seek clarification on an order using Etsy's internal mail system (called "Convo"), but these messages often end up in the buyer's SPAM or junk folder and I never hear back from them. This situation can make it impossible for me to complete the order and lead me to cancel the order as a result. So, to avoid this, I strongly suggest that you check your Etsy account or your SPAM/junk folder at least once with 24 hours of ordering something from my shop. Reasons that I need to contact a buyer include:
- you entered an incomplete, incorrect, or unverifiable-by-USPS address
- you left out customization info such as a name, a date, a size, etc.
- you left a note in the order asking me to do something beyond what you paid for.
- you requested 2-sided stamping while such an option is not described in the listing description.
- you requested expedited shipping without arranging with me to pay for it first

Custom and personalized orders

Many of my handmade items are already customizable, as described in each item listing. I also accept a limited number of custom orders (that are different from the customizable selections available in the shop). The buyer should contact me to discuss details and pricing.

Sizing details

Rings are made using US sizing. If you are unsure about your ring size you can google for online sites that help you figure that out. You can do the same thing if you need help figuring out your wrist size. The buyer is responsible for selecting the correct size(s).

Care instructions

For handmade stamped items: The letters/symbols are etched into the metal by striking a hammer on steel stamps to leave a permanent indentation. While similar to engraving, metal stamping leaves a much deeper groove, and is then filled in with an industrial-strength black "Super Permanent Ink" by Sharpie, which is long-lasting under normal use. But if you wear your item 24/7, the ink may fade. To help preserve the original finish, never use abrasive cleaners on your item or expose it to chlorine or chemical-based solvents.

Gift wrapping and packaging

Gift wrapping is available only for HANDMADE items, for a small fee. Look under the "Gift box gift wrap" section of my shop to access the gift-wrap listing.

Wholesale availability

For handmade items: My creations are made by hand one at a time by one person (myself) and are not available for wholesale.
