I’m Tania Welch…mother, partner, maker, designer, dreamer & doer.

After a great tragedy in my life, I began to understand that I had the power, through the gift of creativity, innovation and love to create a new story for my life. One, that if I dared to dream big enough, could be better than the last. I was confronted with the decision to either be defeated or to live the life I imagined with courage & passion. I chose the latter because LIFE TRULY IS TOO SHORT NOT TO LIVE WHAT YOU LOVE.

indobay is a one woman creative business that was the beginning of a better story for me and it is my gift to you. Through a mix of pretty and practical items I hope to inspire happiness and a home that tells a thousand stories–your stories.

My independent design company is my creative outlet where I create “perfectly, imperfect” hand-printed modern textiles & goods that are meant to bring about an overall sense of calm, well-being and happy feeling into your home — items that are full of wit and whimsy but also function as gentle reminders to embrace living a slower, more thoughtful life.

Great care, heart and attention to detail have gone into the production of all the items that I create. There is a charm and beauty in the process and in the tiny imperfections of hand-printing that give each piece originality and character and which cannot be duplicated by machines.

My hope & intention is to expose creativity, and to create more than just products but “gifts” that make your heart smile.
