In honor of my mother who passed away in 2007, I decided to open a custom design clothing shop on etsy. I named the shop after our daughter.

Ingrid Rose
Custom Design Clothing and Gifts

Ingrid Rose welcomes you. In the midst of our fast paced modern world, there is a need for personalized attention to an individual's clothing needs. Each of us is unique. We do not all fit one mold. Personal preferences in fabrics, colors, styles and comfort determine how we feel in the clothes we wear. Think how much better we feel when the clothes we wear are as unique and special as we are.

Ingrid Rose strives to assist individuals in attaining a feeling of self esteem and comfort in the custom design clothing that we create. You are involved in the design process so that your garment meets your expectations. You will be treated with respect and your special requests will be accommodated to the best of our ability. Payment Method: I prefer that payments be made through PayPal. PayPal accepts credit cards, bank cards or electronic payment from your bank account. If you are paying using Pay Pal, a 50% down payment must be received within 3 days from the date a Bid is accepted. Once the item has been completed, the balance due plus shipping cost must be paid in full PRIOR to shipping.

If, for whatever reason you either can not or choose not to pay using PayPal, ask me about paying with a money order. If you choose to pay by money order, I require full payment, including shipping cost, up front within 5 business days of acceptance of bid. In that case, you must keep in mind that it may add up to two weeks on to the anticipated completion date. I will not begin work on your request until the money order clears at the bank.

Shipping: Items will be shipped by the most reliable method and for a reasonable cost by UPS, FEDEX or USPS Priority Mail. Tracking of packages is available through UPS or FEDEX. Our goal is to have your completed item be delivered to you within 3 - 5 business days after the balance due has been received. Please allow extra time for delivery during Holidays. Delivery Confirmation on orders will be requested when possible. Insurance will be added to each shipment. Notice will be sent to you when your item has been shipped.

Returns: I want you to be happy with your purchase. Please contact me if you have a concern. Be careful when measuring, as I am not responsible for errors made in measurements. Here’s a link to a Simplicity® site that explains how to measure for a proper fit:

Now, a little bit about me…

I am excited to be a Seller on This new endeavor, Ingrid Rose, is named after our daughter. I have many years of experience with sewing for friends and family. My mother taught me to sew at a young age. I started out making doll clothes and small simple quilts. I made pajamas for my brothers and dresses for my mother, sisters, friends and myself. I patched worn out jeans for the boy next door. Once upon a time, when I was in junior high, I excelled in Home Economics class and originally wanted to become a Home Economics teacher. In fact, my teacher said she wished more students were like me. Throughout high school, I made most of my own formal dresses for dances. Since then, I have graduated to projects such as sewing a lacey wedding dress for myself for our renewal of vows ceremony and making bridesmaid dresses, for myself and our daughter. I enjoy sewing for our sons, nieces, nephews and second cousins. I used to sew the simple dresses my mother loved to wear, but sadly she passed away in April 2007. Sewing is therapy for me. I enjoy designing unique creations and thrive on new challenges that are within my reach. I look forward to getting to know a bit about you and working with you as your personal sewing and design consultant.
