    Welcome to Ink Blossom, Handmade Stationery!

    Have you seen something in our shop that you love and want to know how to get the process started, well, here's the scoop!

    Most of our invitations and stationery are available for purchase as single samples which will allow you to see and feel the superior quality of our materials and workmanship.

    All of our samples are available "as shown". If you'd like to see the sample in a DIFFERENT COLOUR, please select "Request a Custom Order" located beneath the image and thumbnails in every listing. Please note that there will be an additional charge, ranging from $20-50, dependent on the complexity of the request.

    In order to move forward with the creative process (and customize the sample to your event), we will require a 50% deposit to begin your design work and order your paper stock. Upon receipt of your deposit you will be e-mailed font and wording options to help you customize your pieces. You will receive your first electronic pdf proof within 1 week of the receipt of your wording and font choices.

    You will receive colour PDF proofs via e-mail for your review within 1 week of receipt of your wording and font choices. Based on your feedback, the pieces will then be modified and tweaked for up to three unique sets, every additional set of revisions beyond that will be an additional charge of $20 each. It will be your responsibility to review your proofs carefully for accuracy and errors. We will require written approval from you to proceed with a sample/printing.

    If you have paid a deposit/placed an order for an invitation set, we are very happy to send one complete COMPLIMENTARY paper sample to you before printing your full order. This is often time-dependent and is optional, so we will be in touch when the time comes to ask if you prefer a paper sample or to proceed straight to printing.

    Once you have approved your order and final quantity in writing, NO FURTHER CHANGES CAN BE MADE. Each set is cut, printed and assembled by hand with meticulous attention to detail and superior craftsmanship. Printing and production may take up to 2 weeks depending on the complexity of your project. We will be in touch with an estimated timeline for you based on your materials, construction and/or embellishments at the time of your approval.

    I would typically suggest starting the creative process for weddings 4-6 months before your wedding date — however, rush orders (printed in less than 4 weeks) can be accommodated at an additional fee. The process for other events, such as showers, announcements, birthdays and any "day-of" wedding stationery should typically start 4 to 8 weeks months prior to the event date.

    A rush fee will be assessed and added to any order that requires a turnaround time of less than 4 weeks (20 business days) from deposit to shipping date. If you're interested in this option, please contact the shop for a quote.

    The balance owing on your order will be due prior to shipping. A detailed summary will be e-mailed to you for your review which will include an updated shipping cost based on the final size and weight of your parcel.

    Ink Blossom is not responsible for any errors or misspellings in approved proofs. Please check your invitation set carefully for accuracy with particular attention to spelling, grammar, addresses and capitalization. Your written confirmation to print will act as your consent that your entire invitation set is error-free.

    We 100% believe in the quality of our product. If you are unhappy with your order in any way please contact us and we'll do our best to find an appropriate solution!
    A 50% DEPOSIT is due upon ordering any wedding invitation set with the final balance due before shipping.

    ALL DEPOSITS are non-refundable due to the custom nature of our product.

    FINAL BALANCES may only be cancelled if unforeseen circumstances arise and the shop is contacted BEFORE your final approval to print is received.
    All of our orders are typically shipped via Canada Post, as regular lettermail and parcels. They often do not include a tracking number, if this is a detail you would like to add please contact our shop and we will let you know your options (and any additional fees this may add). Typical shipping time within Canada is 4 business days, USA 6 business days and Internationally 10-20 business days.

    A generalized shipping cost of $20.00 CAD is added to every Invitation DEPOSIT. This price is subject to change as the final sum will be dependent on the actual size and weight of the parcel. We will make every effort to keep our shipping costs as low as possible and will provide a detailed summary of your shipping options with your final balance.
