Announcement   Attn: Inked Papers is making some changes!
In an effort to continue to provide the product and service I know you expect, we will be testing some new products and procedures over the next few months. Please read below for specific updates that may affect your order.

Inked Papers may have small beginnings, but we have always had big dreams. My main goal has always been to provide an unique product for you, my amazing customers. You have afforded me the time/luxury of being a mother to my children when they needed me the most. I thank you, sincerely. While my children and business thrived, however, I personally had to take the back seat. BUT I have been working hard to put myself back on my life agenda. I have grown a business/personal relationship with Fred (who will be assisting in customer service and business when he gets time) so I can focus more on product and development. Running an ever-growing business is no joke and neither is trying to do it with 4 kids running around. I welcome any thoughts, questions, ideas, etc. that you may have rolling around.

graphic design, (heavy on the) et cetera

I grew up in a 'crafty' house. I spent many weekends helping my mom at local craft shows. She later went on to own a quilt shop. My dad is a woodworker, with a small following of family and friends he creates for. My brother is a talented architect - who married another architect. My sister is a fashion designer, working for a local fair trade clothing company. You could say it runs in the family.

It took me a little longer to find my niche. Partly due to the fact that I indulged myself in art school, I found too many different art forms to love. Graphic design was the latest love, and honestly, the longest I've spent in any one area. The main reason being, that I don't spend all of my time in front of the computer. Having a hand in every part of an order, from conception to completion, is one of the most gratifying parts of what I do.

My children, along with the shop, are constantly growing. InkedPapers began when my sons were 1 and 2. I had just separated from my husband, made the (temporary) move home with my parents and started my life over in every way imaginable. Flash forward 3 years and I can't believe how much has changed. This fall will mark the first time both of my kids will be in school for a portion of the day, after years of trying to balance both business owner and mom. I have moved the business from my small 'start-over' apartment into a house I bought all on my own (and even plans to move into my new shared studio space, OUTSIDE my home). During the days of too little sleep and too much stress, I had no idea that this would all be possible.

I am a big believer in everything happening for a reason. During the dark days of my divorce, InkedPapers was the shining beacon that kept me going. I feel so blessed to be able to CREATE everyday, have customers who APPRECIATE what I do and be around to EXPERIENCE my amazing little ones grow. May we all be so blessed!

Payment
All custom orders are final sales. Please proof drafts carefully!! I cannot be held responsible for spelling errors or mistakes in dates/times. I consider myself an excellent user of the english language, but I DO make mistakes. Your confirmation of a final proof is my go-ahead to complete your order.

I want you to be thrilled with your order, so PLEASE proof all information in your order ONCE, TWICE, THREE TIMES. Another set of eyes is also a good idea.

I CANNOT begin an order until payment is received. If you are in a hurry or working under a deadline, please place your order and submit payment early. Paid orders receive a higher priority in my to-do list.

In the event that I am unable to contact a customer or get no response about an order placed, I will wait up to 2 months for a response. At that time, I will cancel the order and refund (less a $5.00 service fee).
Shipping
All orders ship standard mail, unless otherwise stated or explained. Standard USPS is an affordable, reliable shipping method. (Normally ships 2-5 business days, US) No tracking is included.

Please do contact me, if you would like to include any shipping upgrades. Happy to add on tracking, insurance, or upgraded delivery. I do not offer this unless you ask, so if interested....please ask!

Priority USPS shipping (normally ships in 2-3 business days). Tracking included.
Express USPS shipping (normally ships next day). Guaranteed shipping, tracking included.

For International customers: I CANNOT guarantee delivery times. Delivery is variable depending on your location. Shipping internationally does come with a customs number, but this will only track your order to the last US check-in. You will be able to verify that I have shipped your order as expected, but are not able to track your package past the US border.

Upgraded shipping is available for International delivery:
* Priority International shipping (normally ships in 6-10 business days). Tracking included.
* Global Express International shipping (normally ships 3-5 business days), tracking included.

*Shipping times for International shipments are guidelines only, not guaranteed times, as shipping can be faster or delayed by any number of factors (ie. customs, etc.)

* International orders may be subject to additional costs such as duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees. Import charges vary widely but are most commonly based on the price and type of item, package weight and dimensions, origin country, and the taxes, duties, and fees of the destination country.
Refunds and Exchanges
I cannot be held responsible for shipments that arrive damaged in shipment. I take every care to ensure that your items are packaged securely, in waterproof plastic and padded, as necessary. If you are concerned about your order arriving in a poor condition, please ask me about adding insurance onto your order.

I cannot be held responsible for packages lost in shipping. Standard shipping includes tracking, but doesn't include insurance to cover a lost item. If you are concerned about this, please do ask to upgrade shipping.

Exchanges are available in cases where I may make an error in your order (this does NOT include proofing mistakes on your part). I am very reasonable and want you to have a pleasant experience, so if you have concerns....please do contact me.

Refunds are not available after production, unless extreme circumstances warrant.
