Inked Papers origins are humble. Michelle began taking on freelance projects via Etsy's Alchemy feature in 2009, while taking classes at the Art Institute in Graphic Design. She previously earned an Associates degree in Liberal Studies and a Bachelors in Fine Arts.

'I learned SO much in those first hands-on days. All the while caring for two children under the age of 2, temporarily moving home with my parents, going through an unexpected divorce and working part time! Around this time, I also received a 15 year overdue diagnosis of Narcolepsy with Cataplexy, a chronic neurological sleep disorder. Inked Papers grew as quickly as my boys and has been the shining beacon that kept me always moving forward despite what sometimes feels like impossible odds.'

Fred and Michelle met in 2015 and quickly formed a friendship (and more.... 💚) which evolved into a business partnership, as well. Fred brings his business and customer service background and has been busy perfecting his printing skills. He has 2 kids. He's a US veteran and a has a lifelong love of skateboarding. We live together and work together and it somehow all works. We have big plans for Inked Papers continued growth & success.

We feel so blessed to be able to CREATE everyday, have customers who APPRECIATE what we do and be around to EXPERIENCE our amazing little ones (not so little anymore) grow. May we all be so blessed!
