Get your quirk on!

Emily Chase has been making things since she was old enough to hold a crayon or use a pair of scissors. This early love bloomed into a passion for art which led her through five years of school, from which she emerged, victorious, clutching a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in painting. Strangely, she actually does very little painting, instead focusing her energy on making things from paper.

She began making cards while she was still in college. At first she sold them at opening receptions of her art shows which were in little coffee shops or, once, the natural foods market in her town. Eventually she expanded her line to include other products like art prints, Christmas ornaments and paper jewelry and began participating in local craft shows and selling at local shops.

Emily started Inkstand Studio as a way to expand her shop beyond the sphere of Tulsa, Oklahoma. She loves creating adorable characters and sweet little objects, which she hopes will brighten your day or the day of your loved one.
