Thanks so much for the wonderful custom invitations, placecards and menu cards! They truly set the tone and style for our event, and I think every single person commented on how beautiful the invite was when they called to RSVP.

Welcome to my shop! I love what I do and it is important to me that you love what I create for you. Each piece is designed by me.

Please contact me with your request, quantity, and the pieces you need (invitation, response card, etc.) I will do my best to respond within 24-48 hours.

Payment
Inkwell Stationery currently accepts credit card payments via Paypal.

Before the job is begun, 50% deposit of the total cost of the job is required. Once the job is completed and a proof is approved, the remaining balance is due. I will create a custom listing for both the deposit and the remaining balance. After receipt of the remaining balance, items will be shipped. For shipping information, see “Shipping” below.

If for some reason you change your mind after I begin the job, the 50% deposit is non-refundable. If you notify me that you do not want to move forward with printing and production of the job, the job will be cancelled and no additional money will be due – only if the job has not begun printing. Once the job is completed and the balance has been paid in full, no refunds are admissable. Invoices will be sent via Paypal.
Shipping
Samples ship within 3-5 days of order via USPS Priority Mail. If you choose to order invitations with Inkwell Stationery Studio, I will credit your order the sample cost.

Orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail 3 weeks after the proof has been approved. Custom designs require more time; convo me for details.

Shipping rates vary depending on the weight of the job. I can give you a better idea for shipping rates once the job is completed. This cost will be added to the final balance. It can range anywhere from $15-$35.

Orders in the Boston/Cambridge, Ma area deliver for FREE or can be picked up at the printer.

Please note: the invitations will arrive unassembled. If you would like them assembled upon arrival (invitation, rsvp and rsvp envelope stuffed in invitation envelope, stamps are optional) please let me know and I can provide you with a cost.
Refunds and Exchanges
Because of the nature of custom stationery, all sales are final and non-returnable. For this reason, careful review of the proof is of extreme importance. Your utmost satisfaction is very important to me, so if for some reason you are not satisfied with your order, please contact me.
Additional policies and FAQs
PAPER
For digital printing, there are 2 paper choices unless otherwise specified: Mohawk Superfine (in Soft White or White) and Mohawk Via Felt, a slightly textured paper. For letterpress printing, invitations are printing on Crane Lettra (110# Pearl White, Flourescent White or Ecru). 220# also available.

If you would like another type of paper, please convo me and we can discuss options. I can also provide paper samples ($1.00 per paper sample.)

PRINTING
All designs are printed digital offset. Designs are available in letterpress printing; contact me for pricing. Other printing types, such as engraving or raised printing, are available - please contact me for pricing.

Being the owner of a small business, I am a big supporter of local, small businesses. I have established relationships with 2 Boston area printers – a commercial print shop and a letterpress studio, who both provide top-quality work at competitive prices.

CUSTOM DESIGN
I would love to design a unique invitation just for you! Please convo me for more information. I can also design coordinating pieces for your wedding. Printing prices vary depending on your format and design; contact me for more information and I can prepare a quote for you. Custom designs generally require an additional 2-4 weeks depending on the complexity of your design. Once we discuss your custom design, I can give you a better idea of the timing.

ADDITIONAL OFFERINGS
Additions are available depending on your request: tissue inserts, folded invitations, mounted invitations, ink colors, ribbon, fonts, etc. Depending on how complex the addition is, this many fall under a custom design and a new quote may be needed. Please convo me for more information.

PROOFING
All jobs are proofed via PDFs sent to your email account at no additional cost within 3-5 business days of your order. Proofs for custom designs require more time, depending on the complexity of your design. Please make sure to proof your type carefully. Inkwell is not responsible for typing errors once the proof has been approved. Please keep in mind that because you are seeing a digital file onscreen, there is no way to exactly replicate what will be printed. On-screen colors are approximated as closely as possible but there may be slight variances. Printed, color proofs of your invitation are available for $10 including shipping. Printed proofs will add 3-5 days to your job plus shipping time. If the paper selection is not a “house” stock (Mohawk Superfine Soft White or White, Mohawk Via Felt); the sample may or may not be printed on the paper selection depending on availability of paper at the time of your order.

REVISIONS
Two minor revisions are included with your purchase for typos or misprints. If more than 2 revisions are necessary, each revision is $40.

ENVELOPES
It is suggested to order 10-15% more envelopes than needed if you are using a calligrapher in case of error. When you send a request for your order, let me know how many envelopes you want and I can give you a price. Envelopes are sold in packs of 25 and the prices are below:

A2 extra envelopes > $22
A7 extra envelopes > $24
Square extra envelopes > $30
#10 extra envelopes > $56

OVERAGE
It is highly recommended that you order 15-20 more of each piece in your order. It is much easier to order a small amount of extras than to reprint and entire order. Remember you will also want some invitations as keepsakes and there may be last minute changes to the guest list.

RUSH ORDERS
Rush orders are available for a fee of 20% of total cost.

SALES TAX
As required by law, 6.25% Massachusetts sales tax will be added to jobs in Massachusetts.
