Jewelry for the Old Soul

I love all of the things that romance the heart: love, faith, family, friendship, the poetry of life, and the sentimental. I seek out vintage elements that carry a true patina only time can apply, those pieces that wear an unknown story. My passion is to salvage those things that have been tossed aside and give them a renewed purpose by incorporating them into modern jewelry pieces. Jewelry for the Old Soul.

I have had a lifelong love affair with jewelry and worked in the fine jewelry industry for several years before my family began and I branched out into creating my own pieces. I make everything by hand myself with attention to detail and loads of love and care: the brass etching, soldering, hand-knotted beads and stones, aging rhinestones, and all of the applied patinas. I cut, dye, burnish, and condition every single piece of leather I work with. Each clay heart is formed by my hands alone. Nothing is farmed out to anyone else. My work has been featured in "Belle Armoire Jewelry" and "Jewelry Affaire."

I hope my handmade offerings speak to you and you are able to find something that will bring you joy and help recall fond memories while creating new ones to cherish.

I ship every order within TWO (2) days of payment received, First Class USPS. If your order is outside the Continental United States, please convo me prior to checking out so I can provide you with current shipping costs/options for your review. As tracking is unavailable once a package leaves U.S. borders, I cannot guarantee a specific delivery date for international orders.
Refunds and Exchanges
If for whatever reason you are not thrilled with your piece, I ask that you please let me know within one week (7 days) after receipt of purchase. I would so appreciate the opportunity to make you happy! I only refund purchase price minus shipping provided the piece is returned in the same packaging and condition it was mailed. After that 7 days, please consider the sale final. If you are purchasing something as a gift to give after the 7 days, please let me know at checkout. I welcome any questions and am very prompt in responding, so if you are unsure about something please don't hesitate to ask me.

If you ever need a repair on your In Small Spectacles Jewelry, please know that I stand behind my pieces. I will gladly repair any piece free of charge if it is within a reasonable period after purchase or if it is due to a design/manufacturing fault.
The pieces have vintage elements, so please wear and store with care. Returns as a result of wearer negligence, e.g. chemicals, moisture, perfumes, and activity that damages a piece will not be accepted. Please contact me first to make arrangements for me to receive it (your shipping cost) and I'll repair/return the piece back to you ASAP (my shipping cost).
Additional policies and FAQs
Nothing I make looks machine-made or mass-produced as I make every piece by hand myself using high quality findings and vintage elements. Please note measurements within each listing. As with any vintage piece, wear with care. I provide each piece with a fabric pouch for safe storage. Any wear, distress, or patina should not be viewed as a defect, but as an addition to the piece’s character and a sign of a well-loved element having lived a life prior to its new one with you.

I seal both sides of the solid etched brass pieces with two coats of microcrystalline wax to prevent further aging of the metal. I cannot predict nor guarantee how your skin will react with certain metals.

I will not leave feedback on your account in case you are planning on giving a piece as a gift. If you would like me to leave feedback, please let me know at checkout.

With the exception of hand-knotted pieces and etched cuffs, I can resize as needed and most of the time at no additional cost.

Listings purchased as is; prices firm. I do not sell parts of a listing for your reuse and resale.
