I cannot say enough about how amazing Kelly was to work with. She helped to make this scarf perfect! It was a customized gift for my brother, who is a composer and is impossible to shop for. She actually ended up making two versions of this scarf for me to make it just right. She was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the process. She sent me updates with pictures regularly and worked with me to make sure the design was perfect. The scarves were both beautiful with gorgeous colors and very soft and well made. I highly recommend this shop for any of your scarf needs!

Très gentille créatrice ! Malgré la barrière de la langue et une traduction automatique nous avons pu communiqué et nous sommes parvenues à nous comprendre. L'écharpe est superbe, une vraie beauté ! Je suis très satisfaite. Merci Kelly ;)

About

It started with a loom...

It started with a loom, in an art center. A beautiful old loom, which, being 8, I wasn't allowed to touch. But I was fascinated by watching the artist turn fine tiny almost invisible threads into whole cloth; a magic trick that turns nothing into something, something beautiful; a science that turns one dimensional single color lines into fully patterned colored landscapes. To that 8-year-old, weaving seemed like the coolest thing ever.

Nearly 20 years later, I finally gave in to the whim and took a weaving class at a local arts center. I loved it, but I never thought it would turn into anything but a one time joy. Who has money to buy a floor loom? Who has space to keep it?! Oh, but questions like that are dangerous, sometimes you end up actually answering them.

Now, of course, I own two looms. Both lovely old hardwood Leclerc looms. I have a closet full of more than my own weight in various yarns. And I just simply love to play, and love to share what I've made.
