About

"BURLIN"Garden Harvesting Baskets

The "BURLIN" baskets and other wood crafts are handcrafted on our small farm in Western, North Carolina. We began in 2012 after a visit to the family barn. Upon visiting the barn I found hundreds of old tobacco sticks. The sticks were once used to spear tobacco on then hung in the barn to dry. The sticks have no smell of tobacco because it has been so many years since they were put to use. We utilize the sticks in some of our crafts.
We live on a small farm and always have a garden. I was always needing something to harvest my crop with. That is when the BURLIN baskets were brought to life.
