Wooden jewelry and accessoires. The many colors of wood

You may wonder - Why intarsia108?
108 applies in India as an auspicious number and it runs like a thread through this vast country. 108 stages may lead up to a temple or there stand 108 pillars. Many gods of the Hindu religion have 108 different names; the malas (rosaries) of Hindus and Buddhists have 108 beads etc..

Since my extensive travels throughout the indian subcontinent several years have already passed, but the intense experiences are still present in my mind. In the Jain temples of Mount Abu and Pallitano, before the Taj Mahal and in some indian museums I was overwhelmed by the hights of craftsmanship in marble and ivory, the ancient India was capable to accomplish.
This combination of the magic of India, the love for filigree things and my two decades experience as a cabinet maker were probably the necessary conditions for my intarsia108 project.

Another shop of mine is http://intarsia108.dawanda.com There you might read the item-reviews of my german clients. It's german language, but given stars need no other tongue.
