Bringing you inspired bath bombs with original scents.
Into the Well is inspired by the likes of Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab and Lush. We not only strive to bring you large, quality bath bombs, but we also want to make them in new and interesting scent combinations that you just won't find anywhere else. That is really the fun of it all for us, developing a scent that not only speaks to us on a certain level, but also reaches others and speaks to them as well.
Another thing we are very passionate about, on top of developing the scents, is creating a fitting identity for them. We aim to pull from a variety of subject matter when it comes to naming our scents. Our primary influence lately has been history, but now that we are reaching a wider audience we plan to delve much more into fandom based offerings. An Alluring Legend and Fruits Basket are both within that purview, while others like Maenad and Bells of St. Clements fall more under the history side of things, for example.
We strive to use the best ingredients in our products and are very careful with the scents we use. While essential oils often have wonderful therapeutic properties, some of those oils can cause skin irritation and may contain harmful toxins. We are very careful and do our research when using essential oils in any of our blends. We also employ fragrances used in traditional perfumery as well, since these tend to be safer and offer us more variety in scents. We do not use any oils or other products that are unethically sourced and all of our oils are pthalate free. Our dyes are also natural and organic and some products contain no dyes at all.
If anyone has ideas or subjects they think we should explore, we are always up for inspiration. There is always a story behind our scents and we're thrilled when we can reach and excite someone else. We know the excitement of finding that niche thing we're interested in as a reference in an unexpected product, and hope to bring that thrill to others through our store. I am a a serial hobbyist and hope to be offering a variety of things in my shop. Right now the focus is bath bombs, something I have done for fun over the past 8 years. After seeing how successful they were in local shops I decided to give Etsy a go.

Frequently asked questions
How big are your bath bombs?
Our bath bombs measure 3 inches in diameter and weigh between 7 and 9 ounces unless otherwise specified. They are more than big enough for two baths. Simply split them at the seam carefully with something sharp. They are heavily scented with oils that last for a very long time. We currently have some bath bombs made for our household that have sat for years and still smell great.

Can I be guaranteed of the quality of your ingredients?
We strive to find the best ingredients for our bath bombs and make sure they are all sustainable, ethically sourced, and phthalate free. We do use high-quality fragrance oils as well as essential oils, though some products are made exclusively essential oils with no additional dyes and will say as much on their respective pages. All of our dyes are organic and batch certified.
Will the dyes stain my tub?
We add an emulsifier to our bath bombs which not only allows the color and oils to spread more evenly throughout the water, but also keeps the dyes from sticking to your tub. Spots of dirt on the surface of your tub may retain some color, but these are easily removed with minimal scrubbing and lets you know your tub needed cleaning!
Where else can I find the scents you use?
We formulate each of the scents in-house using high quality fragrance and essential oils from multiple sources, so there really is no place else you will find our signature scents. Most of our products are a mix of no less than six different oils, though some simpler offerings like Dusk to Dawn may only have a couple. We are happy to try to formulate a personalized scent for you as well, just drop us a note!
What if I want to order more of a particular item than what it says you have in stock?
We set the stock on hand for most of our products simply to make sure we are not overwhelmed by orders. Most are made as they are ordered, so we've considered what sort of turn around we could reasonably do within the 1-3 day processing period and set it that way. If you need more of a particular item than it says we have in stock just let us know. Odds are we can make it happen.
