Once a Knitter, Always a Knitter... Until You Start Painting Again...

I have always been the creative type. Growing up, I had a vast collection of books I used to teach myself everything. It began with friendship bracelets and matured into all kinds of jewelry. However, once I picked up my first knitting needles, nothing else stood a chance. I taught myself how to knit at the age 10 from a kit my parents bought me from the local bookstore. Little did they know that it would change all of our lives forever. (They have been sporting Invisible Accidents accessories for nearly a decade.)

Flash forward fourteen years, and Invisible Accidents opened.

What began as a knitwear design and studio, has metamorphosed into a studio that is now more closely focusing on painting and drawing. In the Fall of 2016, I took two classes at a local university to see if I would be interested in pursuing an additional undergraduate degree. I became reignited with my passion for painting and drawing and am now pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Painting and Drawing. The work available in this shop were created in my personal studio time, and may have some reflections into the works I am creating in my university studio.
