Had some trouble figuring out how to attach front paws and add hind legs but got it after a try or two. Very happy with my adorable bunny!

About

Oooh can I crochet that?

Hi there and thanks for stopping by!

I'm Irina, aka Irene Strange, and I love love love to crochet. You could say it's a bit of an addiction. More than a bit. Just ask my other half - our little London flat is practically overrun with yarn, hooks, half-finished projects and amigurumi toys…

It started when I was just a girl and my very crafty grandmother showed me how to make a chain. My grandmother is an amazing crocheter, knitter and seamstress. I doubt she knew what she was starting when she taught me to knit and crochet, but I hope she is a little pleased with the result.

Making things is a big part of my day to day life, and little changed when I graduated with a degree in Graphic Design and started to work in the industry. If anything being in front of a computer all day long designing made me feel more and more passionate about all things handmade.

Then one afternoon I came across Etsy and thought to myself: "Hey, maybe I could be a part of this!"
and Irene Strange was born.

Hi there, thanks for dropping by!

All the amigurumi toy patterns are written in English, in US crochet terms unless clearly stated in the listing. You will be using the following techniques and stitches:

Magic Ring (this is the most common way of starting amigurumi, don't worry if you've not done this before - there is a step-by-step tutorial in each pattern!)
chain stitch (chain)
single crochet (sc)
single crochet increase (sc inc)
single crochet decrease (sc dec)
half double crochet (hdc)
double crochet (dc)
slip stitch (slip)

The instructions for all parts are written down in easy-to-follow tables, with added diagrams for the more complex parts and flat parts, such as ears and clothes. I also add plenty of photos/drawings to go with each pattern, so you'll know if you're on the right track!

**COPYRIGHT NOTICE** All Irene Strange / Reeneegurumi patterns are protected by international copyright laws. These patterns are intended for personal use only. Please do not post the pattern pdfs on file sharing websites, make and distribute copies or share them in any other way.

You are most welcome to sell the finished objects you make with my patterns (I will add a note if the pattern is not for commercial use), my only request is to add a link to my website if you are planning to sell them on Etsy or similar communities. (You just need to say something like "Pattern designed by Irene Strange - visit www.irenestrange.co.uk for more information" )

Please contact me if you have any further questions!
