Announcement   I'm back, baby! It's been a while since I've posted any listings here, my apologies for that. Life got a little hectic and it was difficult to maintain inventory for shows as well as create and update listings here. Now that I've made the decision to quit the show circuit, I am going to try my best to focus more on Etsy. I can't make promises that my shop will always be up-to-date and chock full of new items at all times, but I like the changes that have been made here since I was active last and it's pretty motivating.

I have been making chainmaille for nine years. Each jump-ring is hand woven by myself and I enjoy what I do! I love the endless possibilities of beautiful items that can be made with chainmaille.
I am always open to inquiries about custom orders and alterations to listed items. If you see something in my shop that isn't quite the right size, length or color, please contact me and we can work together to make it perfect for you.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

About

This Ain't Your Usual Renaissance Faire Chainmaille

I started making chainmaille after visiting my local Renaissance Faire. I looked at the pieces they had and thought "I could do that." I recreated some of the items I had seen and then expanded out into more involved pieces, including costume armor.
Within a year, I realized I wasn't getting as much satisfaction from the larger, armor pieces because of the time it took to complete each item and, well, let's face it... it's just not as pretty as a gorgeous, sparkling, sterling silver necklace!
So, I bought smaller tools, smaller rings and upgraded to the precious metals to make classy, timeless pieces of jewelry. The weaves and patterns used to make the armor and larger, more typical ren faire pieces are still alive in my jewelry. They've just been altered and adapted to fit with a more modern way of wearing metal! They might not look like something you'd expect from renaissance faire, but I'm okay with that.

I've been making chainmaille jewelry since the year 2000. The creation of each item is fun and exciting to see it go from individual rings to a finished, beautiful piece of art. I also love to work with customers to create custom pieces.
