My cat, Tippy, and I think this bracelet is gorgeous! Of course, she may just be into the scratching behind the ear but I'm still all about my new bracelet. It's so lightweight! I won't have to take it off when typing reports at work. It won't clank against the keyboard and annoy my cube-mates. And the colors are simply me! ??

About

A little hideaway where you can find handcrafted jewelry, photography and collectibles

I became inspired to make jewelry about a year ago. Since then I have found new avenues of expressing my creativity through my jewelry. This is a wonderful experience and I am grateful I get to share it with whomever decides to visit. So, thanks for visiting!

I would have to say, my favorite parts of beading and jewelry making are wire linking and wire wrapping. Wire wrapping is something new I'm getting into, and it provides a new challenge for me! Both of these methods give the traditional strung necklace a little "pisaz". It also presents a far bigger challenge than the stringing method, making it much more enjoyable.

Perfection!!

The materials I use are wood beads, glass, semi-precious stones, dyed stones and shell beads. I also re-purpose vintage beads from time to time. I wire link and wire wrap my designs with Sterling Silver, french wire, surgical steel, and copper. I'm proud to say my jewelry is nickel free! I strive to make ONLY quality products so they last a lifetime (maybe two or three!).

Growing up in Denver and the mountains of Colorado, my designs have a "city girl" and mid-western touch to them with a hint of hippie. I make my jewelry for all personalities, occasions and seasons! Whether you feel like a city, western, woodsy, gypsy or a beachy kind of gal, I will try my hardest to provide you with the best design I can come up with!

In my jewelry, you will also find a hint of vintage and antique inspiration stemming from my love of history and the treasures that keep those stories alive.

Which brings me to the next corner of my treasure chest!

When I'm not making jewelry, I'm out on the hunt for rare and hard to find vintage jewelry and other fun collectibles. This has been a passion of mine since I was a child going from one antique store to the next, holding and studying an item while envisioning the previous owners and the world they lived in.

If you happen to be looking for something specific, let me know and I will try my hardest to find it!

One of my deepest passions is photography. I truly enjoy "action" photography (i.e.: skateboarding, parkour, concerts, etc.), abstract photography and landscapes.

I love, LOVE capturing that "perfect" moment in life that might be missed with a blink of an eye, or that moment passed by because we weren't even looking for it. The fun part of it, is that everyone will perceive that moment differently.

Some things happened in my life that made me put the camera down for a while, made me step back and "empty my cup", so to speak. My cup is empty and ready to be filled again! Time to bring back the photography folks!

All of my frames and matting are re-purposed and handcrafted by my husband and I from old furniture, scrap signage and metal shop materials. I also have prints on canvas which were printed "in house". All are ready to hang.

If you're looking for a new bracelet, art to fill your walls, or a new item to add to your collection of rare and un-findables, I'm sure you'll find it in my treasure chest!!!

In my shop you will find a wide array of treasures!

I offer handcrafted necklaces, earrings and bracelets. I make my jewelry with only the finest materials, including, but not limited to coconut, wood beads, semi-precious gemstones and shell (most are handpicked by yours truly from the beaches of Mexico). I use Sterling Silver, copper, surgical steel and french wire for my metals.

All of my designs are my own, therefore they are unique in every way!!

When I'm not busy making jewelry, I'm out on the hunt for rare, vintage and antique treasures.

I try my hardest to find out what type of materials are used in the treasures that I find and what time period they're from. If I don't know what is used, or when, I will clearly state it in the description.

Last, but not least, abstract and landscape photography by yours truly. All frames are handcrafted and the various materials used are repurposed.

I provide special discounts on orders of $100 or more!!!

If you have any questions, please contact me through the "contact" button and I will respond as promptly as I can.

Happy hunting!
