5 out of 5 starsWe have recently started to learn Mahjong with friends and had paper print outs of the titles and their Chinese translations. Our titles our of the Chinese version of the game and not the American standard version and our titles, which we purchased in the 1960s on Guam, are original as well. When we found these lovely Mahjong rulers with all the characters and tiles print on them we couldn't get a set fast enough, two actually with another for our friends who have their own Mahjong titles. They are wonderfully made in the tradition of the early Chinese artisans who made Mahjong tiles by hand. We purchased a clear and a blue set. The rulers also work nicely as "pushers" for lining up your walls of tiles as well. Nicely done, a great addition to our set of Mahjong tools, and shipped and arrived within a few days. Dave

5 out of 5 starsJen is absolutely phenomenal. I’ve had her do a couple custom orders, and so having her do our cake topper was a no brained! We can’t wait to see this on our cake in March, and I love that she left scoring lines so we can turn it into a decoration later!

Historic design, modern production
Isette is really the fruition of a lifetime of experiences; the designs are inspired by the past, yet the pieces look toward the future using modern materials and modern technology in production.
I am inspired by the world around me. And I am fortunate that the world around me includes a 100+ year old museum collection that I'm given free reign over and a typography obsessed graphic designer husband. Much of the design inspiration is based in the Victorian period, which was the era of the Technological Revolution (also called the Second Industrial Revolution). They were always looking for the next, best way to produce their consumer goods - I think they would approve!
I’ve chosen to keep a simple color palate in my work, using modern materials such as acrylics or natural materials such as 100% renewable bamboo. This appeases my modern sense of simplicity while still suggesting the ornate designs of the past.
