**I opened a brick & mortar yarn store in my neighborhood so my sewing time has been pretty much eliminated for now. I hope to start making organizers again.. @needlesandhooksyarn
Everything in the shop is handmade by me in my smoke free/extremely kitty friendly home in Lake Forest Park, WA. I'm always working on new things, so if you don't see exactly what you want, check back often. Send me a conversation if you have a special request and I will try my best to accommodate. International shipping is available on all items. All items are ready to ship unless otherwise stated.

4 out of 5 starsThis is an awesome organizer. It can be a little tricky to make. Do not recommend for beginners.

4 out of 5 starsThe pattern makes an excellent item - I am a reasonably competent sewer but did find a couple of parts of the explanation unclear. The pictures within the pattern are a little too small to make out all the details. However, I am pleased with the needle case now it’s finished.

4 out of 5 starsI am a "straight lines and right angles" kind of sewer.... curtains, pillow cases, occasional piece of elastic on a sheet that's trying to escape the bed.... I found the instructions mostly understandable, and the holder really easy to make. I made it from used dog food bags and at some point it became too bulky to get in the throat of my sewing machine. It really only gave me problems when I was trying to sew the binding, but that is far from anyone's fault but my own. I suspect that with proper construction materials, the operative word being MATERIAL, I would have had a much more favorable outcome. I used a snap and added a handle. I thought about magnets, but didn't have any that were sufficiently weak enough to not need a crowbar. lol. All in all, I absolutely would buy again.

About iSew
Work at home Seamstress/Mom/Yarn Store Owner
I've been sewing since I was a little girl. When the time came to quit my event job at Disneyland and follow my man to England, it was a pretty obvious choice for me to open a shop on Etsy and start sewing full time. That was back in 2006. Now I'm married, I have a 10 year old daughter 3 Maine Coons and I've lived in England, the San Francisco Bay area, and Seattle. Now I own a yarn store too! What?! @needlesandhooksyarn opened 11/26/21 and is taking most of my time at this point.
Everything you see in my shop is my own design. I started out selling bags, but eventually moved to coupon organizers and now circular needle organizers and the patterns to make them. I have a graphics background from my previous job, so I also do my own graphic design. I spend a lot of time in the development of the things I sew and on the accuracy of my patterns. I always have my sewing patterns tested before offering them for sale.
