Announcement   I am a impressionist palette knife painter, but dip into printmaking from time to time. My pieces on Etsy are mostly small, in oil paints and are originals. I try to make them affordable as I believe original art should be within the reach of everyone's budget.

I offer a selection of unique original and reproduction art and post as pieces become available. I hope you will find something that appeals to you. If not now, then at another time.

My larger pieces are available from my website www.jeanettejobson.com or direct from representing galleries in St. John's, Newfoundland & Labrador.

The painting is very nice, but there was a difficulty as the was a thick part of the paint that was still wet stuck to the protective paper, and when the paper was peeled off so did some of the paint. I have let the painting just sit and dry and doesn't appear to have much major damage, no base canvas showing. I'll keep it and is good reminder of Remembrance Day for me. Thank you

I am a professional visual artist in northeastern Newfoundland and Labrador. I am inspired by the ocean and boats. Reflections and colour are a large part of my work as well as creating the nuances in values that make these things so unique.

I am an impressionist painter working with a palette knife, however, I do use other mediums for small paintings and create original prints in the form of linocuts and etchings.

You can find my larger works on my website www.jeanettejobson.com. The process of creating a piece of art is often shown on my blog http://illustratedlife.blogspot.com through works in progress, tutorials and sometimes giveaways! I also accept commissions and teach drawing and palette knife painting through workshops and privately.

You can also find me on Facebook (jeanette Jobson Fine Art) or Twitter (jeanettejobson). Drop by and say hello, I'd love to meet you and share my journey.
