I bought materials to try to make a mask like this, but found a wonderful assortment of fantastic, already-made masks by this vendor. Well-made, great price. Arrived quickly. Perfect for my winter solstice forest spirit costume!

Really gorgeous feather collar, perfect sizing and very comfortable to wear. Can't wait to pair it with a Renaissance fest costume next month! Great communication, and I got to help rescue kitties with my purchase - A++++++ Purrrfectly happy! (hee hee, sorry ;-) )
The forest speaks in whispers to our souls...
Living in a deep groove of the forest brought me in close contact with the owls, crows, hawks, and eagles who made their nests in our valley home, wheeling above us on the hunt and shouting their powerful voices to the sky.
Recently I was amazed to see an Eagle attack a Hawk mid-air, drive him out of his hunting ground, and then drop 40 feet straight down to pluck a smaller bird from the sky as prey. Nature’s melodrama is was played out daily just beyond my doorsteps.
When I create a feathered collar or paint a magnificent bird cloak, I try to bring the wisdom and power of the animal to the piece, to be channeled into the spirit of the wearer.
We started rescuing cats in the year 2000, and after the untimely death of our first and most beloved kitty friend we created the Isles of Day Cat Sanctuary to safely house the rest. In 2015, we lost our home and Cat Sanctuary in a massive landslide that swallowed half our property. All proceeds from Isles of Day go to our landslide relief effort, as we attempt to recover from the disaster that left us homeless last December.
Peace and blessings to you all... thank you for giving me the opportunity to support my family and make art my job!

Frequently asked questions
Many people wonder about washing the cloaks. Because they are made of synthetic wool, washing is not advised. However, I have run painted pieces of cloak thru the wash on cold and they did not run or fade. Water safe, hang dry. Use a lint roller or brush to clean dried dirt off.
