BURL WOOD FURNITURE GALLERY IN KERBY, OREGON

WHO WE ARE
We are a family owned and operated artisan wood and wooden furniture business. Located in the beautiful Kerby Oregon area – our eclectic outdoor gallery houses unique furniture items as well as raw materials that can be used by woodworkers, artists and contractors. It’s part showroom, part inspiration source – we encourage all our visitors to explore The Woodyard to get their own creative juices flowing and gather ideas for their own art or interior spaces.

WHAT WE DO
We specialize in indoor & outdoor furniture, carvings, sculptures, home decor, interior design items including mirrors, jewelry boxes, water features, wine stoppers, clocks, lamps, vases, book ends, cutting boards, bowls, hand mirrors, and many other burl wood creations. We also can custom make burl wood items such as: beds, bars, bar stools, coffee tables, sofa back tables, chairs, benches, signs and more for use both in and outdoor.

You’re welcome to browse our unique furniture gallery at our location or order a piece online through our website, Etsy or Ebay store. Bring a little bit of organic Pacific Northwest panache into your home with It’s A Burl Today.

HISTORY
It’s a Burl began in 1987 when proprietors Harvey and Joy Shinerock moved to Southern Oregon from Northern California, where they met selling their work at art shows. Harvey was a burl woodworker and Joy was a jeweler. They purchased the historic Kerbyville Post Office and moved in, converting the front of the building into a showroom. Over the years, they transformed the property into a wonderland of wood art, becoming a roadside attraction and a destination for artists and alternative minded people. Today, the legacy lives on through the hearts and hands of the Shinerock family, including the many friends who have contributed to the evolution of Its a Burl.
