REFUND

Under The Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of any item within a period of 7 working days, beginning with the day after the day on which the item is delivered. This applies to all of our products except in the case of personalised goods - please see below.

PERSONALISED GOODS

Under The Consumer Contracts Regulations you do not have a right to cancel personalised goods. In the case of orders from It's a miniature world this might include e.g. a personalised dolls house already painted and decorated or curtains made specifically to fit your dolls house window.

LOST OR DAMAGED GOODS

If your goods have not arrived within 10 days of receiving our email telling you they are on their way you should contact us as they may have gone missing in transit. We will give you the choice of having the items resent or receiving a full refund. We would ask for your assistance in taking the matter up with Royal Mail as once it has been sent by Royall Mail it is out of our control.

Where goods are received but have been damaged in transit we will assist you to take the matter up with Royal Mail.

If the goods which you receive are faulty or do not meet our description then you have a right to have them refunded or replaced.

You will need to contact It's a miniature world by letter or email with your contact details to inform us of the problem. In the case of faulty items you must inform us within 14 days of receiving them.

If we send a replacement for faulty goods you are still entitled to cancellation rights under the Distance Selling Regulations for seven working days from the day after the day you receive the replacement.

PAYMENT POLICY

Payment is accepted by PayPal, this is a secure online payment checkout which is quick and easy. You do not have to have an account with PayPal, just simply select 'PayPal' and you will then be connected to the PayPal secure checkout where you can then complete your payment details.

Any import taxes are to be paid by the customer and this will remain the sole responsibility of the customer.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If or any reason you are not satisfied with any of your purchases, you may cancel your order up to 14 working days after the day on which you receive your goods.

If you decide to cancel your order:

You must send notice of cancellation by letter or email within this time period.

You will be entitled to a full refund of any money you have paid including postage within 14 days of us receiving your notice of cancellation.

If you have already received your goods you have a statutory duty to retain possession of them and take reasonable care of them.

You must return the goods to It's a miniature world at your expense. We would prefer you to return them in the original packaging but in any case you should take reasonable care to ensure that we actually receive them and that they are not damaged in transit.

DELIVERY TIMES

All items will be dispatched within 1-2 working days of payment made by PayPal.

If for all reason there is a delay with delivery time specified you will be advised of a new delivery time and every effort will be made to dispatch the items out as soon as possible.

If for any reason you are unable to accept a delivery, please ensure that an alternative address is provided as to where the item can be received. If for any reason there has been a failure to deliver the item, there will be a second charge for postage to the customer which will need to be paid before re-sending it.

For larger items e.g. personalised dolls houses that are already decorated and furnished (local areas only) I can deliver these items personally for a set fee or alternatively you can arrange for collection.

SUITABILITY FOR USE

All items offered for sale on the website are for ADULT COLLECTORS only. None of the items are suitable for children under the age of 14 years as there is danger of small parts being swallowed.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS

Product descriptions are provided as a guide only and all dimensions are in centimetres and are approximate.

PRICES

Prices are correct at the time of order only and relate to internet purchases only. Prices may be subject to change without prior notice. Overseas customers should note that you may be liable for taxes in your own country. These remain the sole responsibility of you the customer.
