Announcement    Welcome to my shop!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
All items are assembled (and hand painted where applicable) by me in a smoke and pet free environment. I take care to wrap orders in tissue, card pouches, gift bags, and then ship in bubble envelopes. Treasures from my home to yours.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I ship Monday through Friday, except holidays, as our little post office is closed weekends. The following are shipping times.

~Within Canada: 4 to 6 business days
~To the U.S.: 10 to 14 business days
~International: 12 to 21 business days depending on destination

These times are an approximation and can take even longer if packages get tied up at border customs or during severe weather conditions. Please give extra time during the holiday shopping season to ensure that your goodies arrive in a timely manner.

*Please note:
-My method of shipping does not come with tracking or insurance. If you would like both please let me know and I will get a quote on the cost for you.
-Once a package enters the postal system it is out of my hands. Therefore, I will not take responsiblility for lost or stolen mail.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
For hygienic reasons, I don't accept returns on any of my jewelry items. If there is a problem with the item, however, please let me know.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Note about Tibetan silver: It has a metal alloy mix base which is given a copper coat, and then silver plated. It looks like steel, as shown in my photos, and not a bright silver look like sterling silver. Most of my ‘silver’ colored charms are Tibetan silver, as described in each listing, unless otherwise stated.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Item hues and colors may vary slightly from the real thing depending on your browser and/or monitor. Blues and greens are especially notorious.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Pay one flat fee for shipping for the first 100 grams. Should your order exceed 100 grams I may request that you pay the additional postage via an invoice that I will send from Pay-pal and must be paid before I ship. Your best bet, though, is to ask me to create a special order listing for you. It's no trouble at all. That way I can combine shipping too. If you would like a shipping estimate before hand please let me know as I have a scale.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I buy many of my supplies in bulk so I can afford to provide quality products without charging a lot. Low price does not always mean low quality. I also like to shop for new charms so the more you buy the more I get to shop. Wink, wink.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Thanks for stopping by!

About itsmythingdesigns

On Etsy since 2009

This is my passion...

It all began in a land far, far away...well, kind of. I've come full circle.

My creative roots began as a child when I would make Barbie clothes out of fabric scraps, design forts, which I would wrangle my younger brothers into building, and being a pirate. I have to admit that my map making skills were terrible so most treasures were never found. Mostly my brothers' matchbox cars.

When I was nine my family moved from the lower mainland to Northern Vancouver Island. Yeah, I'm an Island girl! I was befriended by some girls that I went to school with in Fort Rupert. They would invite me to their homes on the reserve where I learned all kinds of crafts from the Grandmothers. It was my true beginning for the love of all things creative.

After college and a bit of a career I married and moved to Alberta. I took up cross stitch while expecting our first child, in 1989, and began designing my own charts. By 2005 I had 32 designs so began selling them on line. In 2006 I began dabbling in jewelry designing.

After a successful run at craft shows and selling on another site one of my sis-in-laws told about Etsy so decided to give it a go. That was is 2009. I had already established my brand name, which I created and registered in 2004, elsewhere but it still took about 3 years to establish myself as a seller on Etsy having just a few sales here and there throughout the year. Once it took off, though, my sales increased rapidly. With so much jewelry being sold out there I consider this a great victory and if I could offer advise to anyone who sells on line, don't get discouraged. It takes time.

In April 2014 we moved back to the Island and I am happy to report that I quickly established myself in my new community through volunteering. It's good to be 'home' again.

To say I enjoy what I do is an understatement. Creating is my passion. It's my thing and I love it!
