Tiny Treats

Caroline: I started sculpting with polymer clay as a child in the 80s. I made my sister a replica of The Body Shop for her Sylvanian Families and I also made earrings which no one bought at the school fair. I started crafting again 15 years later. I would make clay canes in the evenings after working during the day. Then my neighbour asked me to make some little cakes for her daughter’s dolls house and I got hooked on sculpting miniature food.

I am constantly trying to work out how to make something look realistic in miniature and I whenever I go to cafes I always study the cakes (before eating them). A lot of thought goes into the intricate texturing and colouring of my items.

I am based in St Leonards on Sea, in the UK. As well as selling my jewellery and miniatures I run children's workshops.

Hello, welcome to Tiny Treat Boutique! I love to recreate food in miniature using my clay-sculpting skills. I turn my creations into jewellery designed for anyone who likes to add some fun to their outfits.

Accepted payment methods

Returns and exchanges
I gladly accept returns, exchanges, and cancellations
Contact me within: 14 days of delivery
Ship items back within: 30 days of delivery
Request a cancellation within: 12 hours of purchase
The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Questions about your order?
Please if you have any problems with your order.
If you change your mind after receiving your order, you can return the item for a refund of the cost of the item (not the shipping cost). Item must be shipped within 7 days. The buyer pays for the return postage cost. Please return the item in it's unused condition.

I carefully package each order. Please contact me as soon as possible if your item arrives damaged. I will require a photo of the item to ascertain how it became damaged. I will then resend the item or refund the item cost plus postage.

Please contact me if your item fails to arrive within the expected timescale.

I accept payment by Paypal or Credit/Debit Card.

Paypal will automatically convert between different currencies.
Shipping
I ship ready-made items the next working day.

PROCESSING TIME FOR MADE-TO-ORDER ITEMS IS CURRENTLY 5 WORKING DAYS. Please message me if you need me your item urgently and I will see what I can do.

Please note that buyers are responsible for duties and customs charges that may be incurred when shipping internationally.

I combine shipping so have a look through all of my items.

I use first class shipping within the UK, standard to Europe and economy to international addresses (unless upgrades are chosen). Upgraded shipping is available for UK delivery (first class signed for). Upgraded shipping (tracked) is available for the rest of the world.
Additional policies and FAQs
For custom orders and commissions I will require payment before I start work on your order. Commissions may take longer than the usual 3-5 working days as I may need to order supplies. However we can discuss this beforehand.

I reserve the right to improve upon the designs pictured.

Please take into account the prices reflect not just the cost of materials and labour but also product development, tools, studio overheads, photography equipment, software and many other little costs. Thank you for supporting a small handmade business.

Personal data we hold

Personal data we hold includes name, email address, postal address, payment information, and the details of the product that you’re ordering. We do not hold sensitive personal information.

Why we have personal data and how we use it.

To fulfil your order, you must provide me with certain information (which you authorise the host site to provide to me). We use your name, email address, postal address, payment information, and the details of the product that you’re ordering for delivering a service that you have requested. You may also choose to provide me with additional personal information (for a custom order of jewellery, for example), if you contact me directly. We pass address on to Royal Mail and occasionally courier services to get your items to you.

We use your email address to let you know about new products or to offer you discounts – only with your explicit consent. We do not add your email to our mailing list if you make a purchase unless you explicitly consent by choosing to tick the box at checkout. You can also sign up through our website or give us your email address at a market and ask for us to add you to our list.

• Not on the High Street. I share information with NOTHS as necessary to provide you my services and comply with my obligations under both the NOTHS Seller Policy and NOTHS Terms of Use.

You can withdraw your consent for us to hold your email address for marketing purposes at any time and we will do so. This will usually be within a day but will certainly be within a month. You can do this via the unsubscribe link in when you receive an email from us, or by contacting us through our website or one of our sales portals.

Address details are stored within the systems we use – NOTHS, Etsy, Shopify Amazon Handmade. We will delete your information from our self-managed store (Shopify) if you request that we do so. Etsy, NOTHS and Amazon Handmade hold your address details if you shop through them, passing them to us to process your order. They have their own policies, which can be found here:

Security

All our sales portals and mailing list software are password protected using unique passwords and their use is restricted to those accepting and posting orders or composing mailing list updates.

What happens if we breach data protection rules?

If a breach occurs, we will immediately change all passwords to our sales portals and mailing list software and report the breach to the ICO.

How long until my order is shipped?

Made to order items: it can take up to 5 working days before your item is shipped.
Ready to ship items will be dispatched in 2 working days.

Care instructions

- It is best not to wear my jewellery when bathing or swimming or to bed.
- My items are hardwearing but they are breakable so please treat with care.
- Do not let small children play with these items as they are potentially a choking hazard.

Gift wrapping and packaging

All items are sent in an individual gift box/velvet bag inside a bubble envelope.

Wholesale availability

Shipping times

For the UK, I ship first class (1-2 day working days).

For Europe I use standard shipping (3-5 working days). This can often take up to two weeks.
