IVY LANE DESIGNS
original art and handmade goodness
My name is Merrill, and I'm an East Coast girl bent on bringing more beauty and happiness into our daily lives through my art. Ivy Lane Designs is my imaginative outlet. When I'm not painting and crafting for my Ivy Lane Designs Etsy shop, I'm busy raising my two kids and making a home in the pretty Pennsylvania countryside near Philadelphia.
I paint, and also rescue recyclables, such as discarded cardboard, and turn them into fabulous notebooks and colorful jewelry. Old crayons become new fun shapes and matchboxes turn into party favor wows that will make your guests feel appreciated on your special day.
If you want something really bright and creative, keep checking back here. I introduce new things all the time, and customize for parties and special sentiments. As always, special orders are accepted with glee.
Art came early to me - I've illustrated four children's books, and written and edited professionally. Now that I paint and create handmade goodness fulltime instead, I'm delighted that some of my designs have caught the eye of editors at Bride's Magazine, Alternative Press Magazine and the many wonderful bloggers who have featured the items I have for sale.
