Gorgeous flashy blue labradorite stones! Fanciest necklace I've ever had. Only downer: Was terribly tangled when it arrived.
How it all began
When I overheard a jewelry designer asking someone to help string stones during the holiday rush I didn't hesitate to jump in and interrupt "me too please!". I felt a bit like a child but that is how excited I was. I showed up in her studio a few days later and the crazy thing is the other person never showed. Many years later I opened Izuly Jewelry and my Etsy shop.
During my time as assistant creator beautiful things for this other designer I learned about and fell in love with the stones I was working with. One day at a farmers market I met a sweet lady named Anne. She piled layers and layers of thick gemstone necklaces on her arms and explained to me the energies of all the stones and I was hooked. Simultaneously I was studying to teach yoga and the two things have become interwoven as they are both about energy and intentions. I now design with the power of the stones in mind and love to create combinations of gemstones that will heal and energize those wearing them. Many of my pieces are designed to endure an intense yoga asana class, because I know there are those like me out there who put something on and leave it on.
My intention is to create jewelry that is for everyone and everyday.
People often ask me what stones do I love to work with?
This changes constantly.......I have a special place in my heart for turquoise of all shades shapes and sizes. While I am a greens and blues girl I find myself lately drawn to rubies and garnets and I love love love tourmaline! Citrine often takes my breath away and labradorite is a stone I think everyone can and should wear so I use it tons.....love love love that too. I guess I love stones and the energy they send out into the world and especially to those wearing them. I believe you have to go with what speaks to your heart in the moment, it is usually what you need.
Jewelry making yoga teacher..... I started creating jewelry about 10 years ago and soon after began the process of becoming a yoga teacher. These two great loves combined with Izuly Jewelry where I design with the energy of the stones in mind.
All our pieces are handmade with attention to detail and design.
We put much attention on the beauty of the stones we use with
the intention to not over design and take away from that natural
beauty. Some stones are one of a kind making many of our designs
unique. Along with beautiful stones we use other fine materials,
sterling silver, 14/20 gold fill, beautiful leather, silk, and other high
quality products to create Izuly Jewelry.
